I wish Facebook at least could make the existing dark mode in Messenger aware of the system theme.

Please, could you add section for Apps that utilize possibility to be half size and faster launch speed. Everyone is talking about it but I have not see any info or test that would show any changes.

I think what you are referring to is “App Thinning”. That would be a good category to add if any have been released. I don’t recall where I saw this but I think that may be coming later in the year.

I wanted to say yes but did a bit of googling. Thinning was introduced in iOS 9. I am talking about apple claims that in iOS 13 app can be half the size and launch twice as fast. But it may be just next step Apple did. Not sure how App thinning took effect in reality.

I found this on developer portal:

Xcode 11 includes Swift 5 and the latest SDKs for all Apple platforms. With Swift 5, runtime is built into iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS so your app no longer needs to bundle this library for these latest OS releases. Users who download an app built with Swift from the App Store will get a smaller app and a faster download.
Starting April, 2020, all apps submitted to the App Store will need to be built with Xcode 11. Xcode 11 requires macOS Mojave 10.14.3 or later.

So it may have more common with runtimes and libraries that ave to be built into apps before. I guess it is available from iOS 13.1 but someone better informed can correct me.

Gas Buddy is listed but doesn't appear to support Sign In With Apple. I just downloaded the app and it's not an option for sign up. Also, just checked gasbuddy.com, and it's not there, either.

Added Outlook since its existing pre-iOS 13 Dark Mode now detects the system setting. You can also override the system and always use dark or light mode.

Thanks, but could you please also include in your list any websites that support dark mode and/or sign in with apple? those two features are available for websites too.

Instagram!
Dark mode...but I was hoping they’d add sign in with apple too. I just downloaded the app and the only quick sign in button it offers is facebook. There is no sign in with apple button neither in the app nor on the website.

Finally! And it's awesome.
What are you talking about, dark mode or sign in with apple? Instagram still doesn’t support sign in with apple, they only support sign in with facebook both in their app and on their website.

About time! Hopefully this is a sign that Facebook will be updating the rest of their apps.
Great that they added dark mode, but Don’t keep your hopes up for other features such as sign in with apple. Instagram still isn’t supporting sign in with Apple. I just downloaded their app and checked on their website too. In both cases, the only options available are facebook and the basic username and password sign in. Sign in with apple is nowhere to be found.

Sign in with Apple isn’t required for 6 more months.

BestBuy.com now offers SignInWithApple. It doesn’t appear in the app though. TuneIn and Ritual have both confirmed that they’ll be adding it.

The usual suspects will hold off on “Sign in with Apple” as long as possible, simply because they will lose data from using their sign ins. Expect them to appear on the last possible day. And Apple should hold them to that...no extensions.
