I haven't spent much money on any of my iPhone apps, so I guess I don't regret any purchases per se.

Most apps that aren't on my iPhone anymore are free apps. Ones that I rarely use for their cost though... Maybe Crash Kart?

SimCity for $9.99 or whatever the ridiculous initial price was. I don't play it enough to justify the cost.

Same with BeejiveIM - I actually like the app quite a bit but I don't IM enough people to have made the application worth $19.99 *to me*

Hard to regret anything that was 59p but for the pricer ones, wish I hadn't bought:

Super Monkey Ball,
Time Crisis,
Zen Bound (fantastic graphics, but oh so rubbish).

Price is absolutely no guarantee of quality!

List of apps I have bought and didn't regret it:

Beejive (use it daily. amazing!)
Dr. Awesome (alot of fun telling my friends they died at my hands :D )
Pocket God (Favourite!!)
Bejeweled 2 (the peace and quiet I've gotten from my mom playing this was even worth it)
Touch Grind (again, another game thats alot of fun)
Enigmo (bought it at 3.99, haven't played it in awhile, but don't regret it. good game)
Spore (I love editing my little dude. <3 you Xulu)
Crash Bandicoot Racing (Fun!)

Apps I bought and I do regret it.

Super Monkey Ball (gets boring quickly. I also suck at it with the ipod touch controls. I was awesome at it on GC :( )
Sim City (played it for about an hour...and just couldn't get into it.)
Tetris (german) (should have bought the english version, but otherwise still a good app)

I'll update this as i think of more. I bet i've bought more apps...just don't have all of them installed. :)

I regret buying NetShare because I do not even own iPhone and do not plan on buying one.

I regret paying $15-$20 for apps that are now $2-$5.

Ego.

I may not regret it in the long term, but I regretted it right after I bought it.

I thought it sounded like it might be useful to me, but then I went to start configuring stuff and realized it was giving me information I did not really need, and wished I could have the lack of good conscious to just have asked for a refund.

That being said, maybe some day it will be useful to me and it will redeem itself.

meh. SimCity. I bought it at 10 bucks and it was super buggy and I've never even played it. Pretty happy w/ my other purchases (as someone mentioned, when you're buying 1-5 buck apps, it's hard to be disappointed hah).

All the apps I bought only coz every website on the net was telling how great it was. Especially the 3d grafix ones. They simply arent fun on iPhone`s small screen. But I am cheap enough to make sure all the dozen or so apps I have bought were 99 cents. The only $1+ app I have considered buying is "Sway". I`ve played the lite version and liked it very much. I just hope they lower the price some time soon or I might just buy it for 5$ thereby making it the first app eligible to my regret.

Regret:
Friendbook (useless buggy crap)
Touch Term (Now it's free, and there's a premium version I would have to buy again. iSSH is better)
Spanish phrase book (accidentally bought it, I speak Spanish *sorta* so I don't have much use for it)
Tweetsville (Easily the worst paid twitter client)
Omnifocus (not because it's bad, but because I don't have a license for the Desktop version and so I use Things instead)
IM+ (Beejive is sooo much better)
Crash Bandicoot (buggy, not fun)
Cromag Rally (not fun)
CameraBag (I never use it, I just 'shop pictures at home)
Leaf Trombone (sounds awful)
Line Rider (really not fun)
Keynote Remote (I don't use keynote! What was I thinking!?)

Apps I do not regret:
  • Beejive
  • Things
  • Enigmo
  • iSSH
  • iDracula
  • Jaadu VNC
  • Koi Pond
  • Touch Grind
  • Super Monkey Ball
  • Tweetie

iPhyics Lite. the main reason i bought that was because the developer said whoever buys the full and the lite version would get something extra but the damn developer never came out with the full version and charged $1.99 for the lite version and i beat the lite version in less than an hour.
