Rest of my apps are free. It's easy to pull the trigger when you allow yourself to.

If I had to say, the only paid app I don't like anymore is Raging Thunder. I think I even paid $1.99 for it - and I'm cheap, so imagine my pain. Immense, yes.

exactly why i stick to free apps

Most of the apps I've ended up regretting are free. It seems there's less attention to quality when one isn't making any money off of it. I'd say nearly all apps I've purchased, most $1.99 and above, have been very good.

Facebook is the best free app.

Also, I can't stand free "ad-supported" apps. If I download one and see ads blinking everywhere, it gets deleted immediately. ;)

A ton of apps... I guess I most regret buying Asphalt 4, Ferrari GT, Fast And Furious: The Game, Raging Thunder, and GTS. I prefer Fastlane so much more to those racers.

I've also bought a lot of apps hoping they would help me out in a roundabout way only to find a month later an app updates or a new app comes out that does almost exactly what I want it to do and is just so much easier to use.

I guess some apps that I dropped in favor of another I still keep tabs on cause, well I've already bought them, and a few updates later that app could be so much better. That especially goes for personal finance apps and productivity apps. For example, I use TapExpense now cause entering on the fly is so fast and easy with that app, but other apps are getting good as well, such as PocketMoney.

I think a lot (99%) of people who bought iSkate were disappointed when they realized it wasn't TouchGrind (which is the much better product, featured in an Apple commercial). Mind you, I haven't bought either.

It's amazing how many people ignore reviews and just buy an app based on it's ranking, name, and assumptions. The screenshot (1 of 1) is lousy, and the description admits it needs work, it hasn't been updated and probably never will be (though the developer has put out a half dozen apps since) and the reviews (thousands) slam the app and recommend TouchGrind. But it reached the top tier by virtue of its name and Apple's commercial. And it still sells well today.

'Hey, I just saw a cool looking skateboard app on an Apple commercial!'
(goes to App Store, searches for skateboard)

'This must be it!'
(buys app)

'This sucks! I'll post a review to warn others!'
(reads reviews)

'Gee, 99% of the reviews state that it's lousy. I wonder why those people bought it when it had such bad reviews? Ooops.'

Parking lot. I bought it one morning and have played it like 3 times in a month.

is the crash bandicoot app really a waste of money? i'm planning to purchase this app but from what I have read in this thread, it seems that many people regret buying this app. Is it really not worth it?:confused:How about monopoly?

Maybe I just don't find racing games fun. Either way I never played passed the first level in Crash.
