No!!!! Point blank. The only upside to the air pods is the seamless connection that’s it.
Can’t increase volume
Can’t advance tracks
Why in the hell would I want to stop my music to Simon Siri to to turn volume up down or go to next track or replay smh.

It’s plenty wireless option that is superior to the AirPods

could you please correct the info then, because i own airdpods and dont know how to change volume without siri or pulling out my phone or buying apple watch just to control volume in my airpods. please advice me!

if i want to control tracks i need to set up airpods one for next and one for former, and because there isnt third airpod, i dont anymore have a control ”tap to wake siri”.. if i want to control tracks and use siri, i can only set up one airpod (next or former) and let another to be for siri .. however, things get nasty when im speaking with someone and want to control volume... so please advice me how to control volume from airpods!
