Not really. Mine is kept in a case anyway, so that doesn't make a whole big difference to me. All I care about is the OS.
If the new iPhone doesn't have some kind of cosmetic change?
No. The point of the iPhone is 2 things:
Touchscreen
Software
The point of the hardware is to go as unnoticed as possible. I already just think of the hardware as 'black edges around my screen.' I'm not sure how to make it much more minimal than that. Can you? I could stand the phone to be slightly thinner (but not as thin as the iPod Touch) but that depends on the technology available. I don't think they can do much about that right now. So I really have no suggestions for what they should change.
Unless, of course, you're talking about going the other way and making the hardware MORE visable and MORE obvious.
In which case I'd say, no, that's a very bad idea.

Since you already know, please enlighten us.
Small white car: As far as hardware goes that is important, have you use a JB 3g and compared it to a JB 3gs, it's a day and night difference. Why would anyone want to have the hardware MORE visable and MORE obvious. You must have not upgraded to the 3gs because hardware was the only thing apple change from the 3g.
Just cause it's 3 years old? I don't think I want the iphone to be bigger... a bigger screen means a bigger device is that really what you want? If so get an iMaxiPad? I don't see what could be better about the current screen... maybe someone can enlighten me?Bigger, better screen.
Yeah, it's the best touchscreen, but it's 3 years old. Come on.
All I really care about is hardware, cause I already know what software it's going to have, but I'd like to see some kinda change to the design.
I like the hardware, so it is not such a big deal to me. More important is what is the OS going to be like.
