Are you returning your AirPods?

I won't return them because they're Apple, otherwise I definitely would. The sound is PURE CRAP, for half the price I could've gotten much better sounding headphones. I guess I've only paid for the rechargeable case, W1 chip, multiple sensors and whatnot which work great, and the actual pods fit really well, but that's not really why people buy headphones, music/audio is. I'd rather pay a bit more and have a decent sound quality. Overhyped Apple product as per usual.

I’ve stopped using all my other Bluetooth headphones. They are much better for phone calls than my previous Backbeat Fits, and ease of use is outstanding.

There is no comparison.

You should try someone else's to compare. My first pair were awful. Second ones sound great for the size (it's subjective I know, but I'm reasonably geeky, use studio monitors at home as I like a 'natural' sound, coming from sennheiser over ear...).

Pre 2013 Earpods had poor sound quality, but the current gen ones, and Airpods sound quite decent to me. Heavy bass doesnt mean quality sound.

And overhyped? Airpods are probably the least covered, least advertised, and discussed product Apple has released in years.

Fancy that - you had an issue (as some do) & had them replaced with a pair that works as they should.

Perhaps others who are quick to dismiss them (or any other product for that matter) shouldn't post negative reviews when they've only had them for a few days, before they've determined whether they had a faulty pair.
