Yep yep and yep. Not to mention finder is really limited. They don't offer the feature of merging two same name folder/ document. This feature is really really useful in windows 7 especially if u deal with lots of documents day to day. Also u cannot cmd c or x any files or folders. Another cool windows trick. It doesnt allows u to copy the path for the files easily unless u drop it in terminal.
To complain bitterly about these things is pure nitpicking. At least the people who are having problems with stability, wireless connectivity, etc. have actual problems.
And Aero snap! Mac can really learn a thing or two fr windows.
Yeah, right. Your username doesn't even try to hide it.
And why don't mac have a official app or program to remove apps?
Because OS X generally doesn't need one. Removing an app consists, in almost all cases, of dragging that app's icon to the trash (if you really care you can hunt down the preference files in ~/library, but they take up virtually no space). Windows needs uninstaller programs because Windows programs typically install substantial chunks here, there and everywhere.
In conclusion of this long post- windows have better OS in terms of functionality. ML is too much eye candy and not really all that impressive eye candy as Linux.
Posting this sort of provocative material on an Apple forum might have been worth it ten years ago, or even perhaps five. Given what has transpired since then, it's just sad. Microsoft has been reduced to a vendor of bland, basic software that people buy for no other reason than because its a standard.
You just don't get it. Microsoft is no longer an Apple competitor. Apple doesn't really care about selling operating systems or office software to businesses or price conscious consumers. Apple has virtually eliminated Microsoft from the markets Apple wants to dominate (phones, music, the high end of the consumer market, tablets, etc.).
I teach at a university. The vast majority of the students now own Macs. If they have a tablet, it's almost certainly an iPad. If they have a smartphone it's likely an iPhone, and it if isn't, it will be an Android device. If they have a music player, odds on it's an iPod. I have yet to see a Windows phone on campus.
Microsoft is now more or less irrelevant. Who really cares about the latest train wreck version of Windows other than people who have to? If you feel inclined to purchase Ballmer's latest embarrassing offering, more power to you.
