twenty minutes of flashlight tag on the beach at Tybee Island, not very far from my dorm.

wow, very impressive shot. a few questions:

what flashlight where you using and how fast did you move it?
What 10mm lens?
You pointed the camera north, i guess?
why did you shoot it not parallel to the horizon?
what the heck do you do at three am at the beach?
and why do you have a dorm so close to the beach in the first place?

seriously, i was planning a similar shot in the winter when bostons skies are less hazy. i doubt it's gonna be as good as this one......

-A few different flashlights (LED and regular), and we were just chasing each other. :D

-EF-S 10-22mm

-Yes

-Accidental/careless. It was mostly an experiment.

-just chill out. It's surreal, with the stars, and it's empty, too. Really calm.

-I go to school in Savannah, GA. >20 minutes from the coast! :D

Transforming from boat to automobile

Was in Holland last week on business...thought that the Assignment was Transportation (not Transformation) or Motion. Oops!

In any event, in a city full of canals, I found a lot more bikes & cars than I found canal boats, which is reflective of a transformation of transporation:

FWIW, don't ask me how they manage to get out of their parked cars and not immediately fall off the edge into the drink!

I thought this was cool. The baitfish are migrating south again, and these pelicans are enjoying the bounty!

Taken on Sunday, October 29 at Paradise beach.:)
