^^It's amazing that you could be in Hong Kong and have a 2 MP digital camera with you. What's even more amazing is that you didn't buy a new one in HK, with so many stores around.

Anyway, I took this yesterday or 2 days ago. I just changed time zones today, so anyway....

I actually bought a new battery for my 2MP camera when I was there :p.

Aaaahhh. Now I see it......still looks like a wooden boxing ring though;)

With that and "the web" you've got some really nice entries. Well done.

Thanks. :)

medium format 120 B&W 400....

Very nice. :)

Yeah, I had a Canon A60, which was 2 MP. It was my first Canon p&s, and not my last, nor is it my family's last Canon p&s. :) I am going to try another brand next time though. I have a few cameras in mind.

Anyway, here's another photo taken using my Nikon D50 and Tokina 12-24 mm. I forget the settings, and I'm too lazy to check. Anyway, I wish the composition was better, incorporating a tiny bit more of the dock. At the time, I was most concerned about getting the light, faded, grey industrial background in my shot, along with a part of the dock. Oh well, my girlfriend was waiting and getting rather impatient with me and my camera, so I had to make it a quickie. :p  I don't mind compromising for my girlfriend because she has always been patient about my photography "getting in the way" of our vacation a bit, but when I look at the photo, I wish I took it again.

Anyone else feel my pain?

I used f2.8 and shutter speed 1/3. The camera that I used is a canon A640 I also use a Canon Xt as well. the picture is obviously higher quality on my computer, I didn't know if I should attach it or feed it from an upload site. I did some color enhancing in aperture too. I changed the contrast a little and saturation as well. There is a lot I would like to do with this picture, probably lots o stuff in photoshop. There was a cop car far behind the white car that is what the blue light is.

I like the way this came out, my flash caught a pot hanging and thats why its like that:cool:

Yea this pic isn't too bad, I like the shadow cast on her face. She looks concerned about something too (the expression looks a little forced, but still displays the message. Nice pic, I like.

ha ha well I guess it was good candid shot over christmas. I look forward to seeing more

No, it's good. If the exposure was greater, it would be better though. Right now it's a bit hard to tell what's going on unless you look for a few seconds because of how dark it is, but I do like photos like that. Black and white can make some shots better. :)
