It was not hard to keep the camera dry as I was standing on a balcony being shielded from the rain, looking down onto the street. I am more worried about keeping myself dry in streaming rain like that

That was on the 1st of january by the way, with 2007 being about 1 hour old.

Wow I wish I had opportunities like that to take pictures on the way to school. Ha ha oh well there are other things really nice picture by the way. What kind of camera do you have??I took this photograph on my way to school this morning... it's the first substantially cold day of the year.

The road I take is literally on a sea wall, so all I had to do was roll down the window. It was frigid out though, so you could see the steam on the water swirling around the wind. Pretty cool. The camera I took it with is just a basic point and shoot: Sony DSC-P100.

Yeah, great photo going to school. That's impressive.
My jogging route takes me right beside the ocean for 4 km (around 2.5 miles), but I never have a camera with me.
I live 2 km from the beach, so it's easy for me to go. Maybe I'll just walk there one day and take photos.
Sorry, don't have a fancy camera (yet!), but I took this the other day with my iSight. The way the light was coming through the window made for some interesting reflections.

30 second exposure , really dark room, then a bright light going around the person. Ive got loads like this, they are really fun to do

I was bored yesterday and decided to make some custom avatars for msn, windows logon etc , here is one I did for the missus. Quick and Dirty I know, it was just a broken usb xmas tree that slowly changes colour via 3 led's . here are the details
