Is there a chance it could be coming via FedEx versus UPS?
yes......tried both and the same result :) Hoping it is UPS for me. I can request a hold and pick it rather than wait for it to be delivered. the UPS delivery hub is only 4 miles from my house.

Same here. The hub is about 5 mi from my house. I can’t track via UPS either.

Just tried *6737# and mine says “We're sorry. Requested information is currently unavailable. Please try again later.” Did this for the other line I have ordered too and got the same message.

Did you use your order number? I got that when I used my order number but when I used the wireless number, it worked.

My apple app order has UPS # I see it on ups app. Nothing through ATT yet as well, does say preparing to ship.

Checked both my UPS and FedEx accounts online. I have a Max coming for September 21st and nothing is showing up on both sites just yet.

I have orders in for an XS SG 256GB and XS Max SG 256GB. Both orders show preparing to ship through my app and through he AT&T website. Using the text interface and searching by wireless number they both show back ordered. Can't seem to anything in the text interface when using the order number.

Same here although I only have a Xs Max 256 ordered.

Well, ATT just told me they do not have any XS Max, and therefore they need to cancel my order. WTF! I had ordered XS Max, silver, 64gb

What?!? That doesn’t sound right. I think they’re looking at limited information since the packages are coming from China and the rep has no other info. AT&T reps are notorious for not knowing information

Let’s assume that were true. Then what the rep is saying is anyone who ordered that model of phone after you has no chance of getting the phone? That would definitely upset a tremendous amount of people that ordered after you and had the delivery date of the 21st.
Makes absolutely no sense. I don’t think AT&T would risk that. I believe the rep you got has no clue what they’re doing.
