Anyone have anything other than In Progress? Also, has anyone ever preordered an Apple Watch from ATT? Were the estimate dates accurate?

I'm starting to wonder the same thing! Lol I've pre-ordered iPhone before and the dates were accurate so I don't see any reason to believe this would be any different.

I’ve ordered a few iPhones and they always came on launch day. I’m not sure about this order though. I’ve never bought an Apple Watch from them. Even though I placed the order about 15 mins after the site went live (which was when they showed up on the site for me) the estimated delivery dates are not until October. I wonder how accurate this will be. But my status says in process.

Nothing has changed on mine, still says in progress. But my delivery date isn’t until oct 1-8.

My situation is the same, hopefully we start seeing movement on AT&t preorders.

I ordered mine Saturday morning around 10 AM CST. All of the stainless were sold out or had Oct to Nov dates. I ordered the 44mm Space Grey Aluminum with black sport band and it is scheduled to be delivered Friday the 21st. I have never preordered an Apple Watch before but I have preordered iPhones for the past 4 years and I always receive my device on the day it says in the confirmation email. I received both emails within minutes of each other and I used the option to bill the taxes to my next bill. Here's to hoping that we all get some movement and tracking numbers in the next 24 to 48 hours.

It took more than 10 tries for me to actually place a preorder for the 44mm SS model, and I was juggling between 2 iPhones and 2 laptops.

New to this post. Ordered 2 watched. My first order was a 44mm SG aluminum sport loop at exactly 2:00 am central time. I ordered it along with Xs Max and had a delivery date of 9/21 through the whole check out process for both. It wasn’t until I received an order update from att the next morning that had the phone still at 9/21 but the watch had changed to 9/28-10/5. I was pretty shocked to see since I ordered right at 2 even though I’m sure some people got it before I figured I was still early enough to get it by 9/21.

For my second order I got gold aluminum 40mm. That one I ordered at 2:16 central time and I got a 9/21 delivery for that one and when I received the order update email from att the date remained the same.

Not sure why the date changed on the 44mm SG. I figured if anything the one I ordered later would run the risk of not being 9/21 delivery but it was totally the other way around. Anybody else have this happened to them?

I had something similar happen to my iPhone 7 Plus preorder with AT&T. I think it has something to do with when their system actually processes the preorder.

I'm thinking the same thing honestly. Every device that I have preordered for the past 5 years has been on time with the initial estimate. No reason to believe the watch will be any different. I would suspect that the logistics may be a little different from the iPhones being shipped from China so that may be why we are all still stuck and in progress.

New here! But always loved the community of this site.

Anyways, Preordered at the ATT site and got the confirmation emails the next day(Sunday) showing delivery date 9/21.

From then unto now, it's still "In Progress"...

What watch version did you order? Might be interesting to see if one version starts seeing movement sooner than others. And welcome!

[doublepost=1537049488][/doublepost]Also for att pre orders for the cellular ones. You get 60 credit for buying Apple Watch thru att. (30 for activation fee + 30 for 10 Cellular fee credited for 3 months )

where did you get the info regarding the 60 credits? I haven't seen that anywhere.

Welcome! You're lucky my friend, I kept having to empty my cart and start over because the preorder wouldn't submit. I received an early Oct delivery timeframe as a result.

Still in progress hoping it ships UPS since I am picking up my max on Friday at the warehouse

I'm hoping for an earlier delivery, lol.

It's on their website when you're preordering the watch.

You'll see "All new for a better you, save on the Apple Watch Series 4". You'll have to click on the "See offer Details" to see what he's talking about. It's near the top of the Page.

OUCH! I saw that when I went to the ATT page to see how the dates for each watch are holding up.
I told myself "I hope No one has to wait this long for a Pre-order..." Sorry friend!

Well, Woke up expecting to see some update from ATT. But, it still says “In Progress”. I’m starting to doubt it’ll come Friday.

Here’s to hoping!

Anyone have an update?

Both my watches still say "in progress". One has a delivery date of 9/21 and the other has 9/28-10/5. Both of them still in progress gives me a slim chance of hope that the 9/28 gets bumped to 9/21.

On another note, on other AT&T preorders, nothing moved until the day before or the day of delivery. A friend of mine both preordered iPhone X last year, me with AT&T and her with Verizon. She received shipping info and updates all throughout the week and I received nothing until the day before delivery late in the day. In the end, I ended up getting my phone delivered first. Just to give you guys an idea of previous AT&T preorder experience.

Ordered a Cellular 44mm space grey alu and matching 64gb iPhone XS at 0310 EST when I placed my order it shows Oct 1-8th for Watch(has phone number assigned) and Sept 21st for phone. As of this morning phone shows Preparing to ship and watch shows In Progress. Apple store showed Sept 21st delivery for apple watch after I placed my AT&T order, if it doesn't show up on Launch day I am going to be annoyed.

Yea I have no idea why they do it like this. I always envy those apple preorders because they can get tracking info with the reference number, but every year I preorder I have both apple and att websites ready and att always lets me in first so that's the reason I usually do it through att instead, their website usually let's me in a few minutes before actually...for example I was checked out of att with my first order at exactly 2:00:07 am cst.

Just for peace of mind they should update like apple and/or other carriers do because to my understanding they all get shipped together from China and they split them up when they get stateside. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong about that but that's how I understand it.

Yea both my watches still say "in progress" while my phone moved to PTS a couple days ago. I'm guessing everybody's phones have moved first.

I also had that idea as well and would explain why they take so long to update their Preorder statuses to Customers.

My watch also still says in progress. While it would be nice to get it sooner I doubt it will come by Friday. Still kind of annoyed that I ordered it as soon a possible when the site went live and still got an October delivery date.
