The hard part is that I sold my other iPad, because of the two day shipping estimate. I am coming up on over a month without an iPad. I am starting to contemplate the 10.5" now.

Same with me. I sold my MacBook and was looking forward to editing my YouTube videos on my iPad and I had a bunch of videos already recorded and set to upload for about a month now and now I'm running up on one more video before I have to record and edit more. I just knew I would have it by now.

Status just changed to preparing to ship! So let's see how it take to actually ship.

I was in a similar boat. I ended up canceling mine through the AT&T corporate store and going to BestBuy. I ordered mine and it arrive 5 days later.
Ok well I'm glad it wasn't just me because I was talking to AT&T on twitter lastnight and I was hoping they didn't just change my status to that to shut me up.
Mine did as well. I was seriously looking at just changing my order to the 10.5. We will see how long until it actually ships out.
Yeah I'm not going to change to the 10.5 since I'm going to be using the iPad as my main device. Hopefully it ships out quickly and doesn't hang around in this status forever.
Spoke with ATT today since the site has been down as far as checking my order. Not sure how true it is but they informed me it will ship out today or tomorrow at the latest. Would be great if thats true. Would really like to have the ipad this week. Plan on using it for work and I travel every week.
I just got an email that my iPad shipped. I got the status change to preparing for shipment this morning, and now it is on the way.
Yep mine shipped as well. We are on our way folks. Lol. Apple Pencil will be here Thursday as well.
I think they are all overnight. Mine will be here tomorrow also.
When I preordered my S8+ it came overnight as well.

So today I finally decided to place an order for the new 10.5. I walked into the local AT&T store expecting them to tell me it would be 2-3 weeks, but to my surprise they told me it would ship by next Wednesday July 19th. Then to my further surprise, I received an email 2 hours after leaving the store telling me that it had already shipped and giving the tracking number!
