12.9, 512. It was supposed to ship between 6/30 and 7/7 but just shipped today for delivery Monday!!10.5 or 12.9? What was your original expected ship date? I ordered as soon as they became available, but my SG 10.5 still says june27 to july 4

I gave in and ordered the iPad Pro 10.5 in. 512GB space gray do to ship between July 14 - July 21. Apparently these are difficult to come by also. Since I'm on the 2GB data plan I try to keep most of my media on the iPad. Thus far all seasons of The Big Bang Theory in 1080p already consumes 80GB+. Adding 50 HD movies, 7GB of 320kBs MP3, 20GB of ePub, PDF's, magazines and games should future proof this device for a few years.
Let's hope Apple supples back covers to these device or even from SafdleBackLeather cases would be great.

I hope you get yours soon. I am at the moment updating from another iPad backup. This thing is HUGE! Yet, it is surprisingly light. What I am let down about is that Apple does not offer a silicone case for this generation. I foolishly bought one from Amazon thinking it would fit this second generation. Alas, it covers the flash, so I ordered the leather sleeve instead.
Still no movement on my 10.5 512 . Also, my leather sleeve “preorder” from best buy that was supposed to ship today also went straight to backorder this morning. Was hoping to have it all by this friday since im going out of town for the holiday weekend.

I ordered the iPad Pro 10.5" 512gb, on 6/6/2017 at 4:03:21 pm EST (pissed me off, cause I ordered through Premiere, and had a shipping day of the next day or so... but there was something wrong with the order and the customer rep had to re-order it, thus delaying my shipment date; even tho she said it wouldn't)...

ATT worries me with things like this since i preordered the airpods, went from shipping on release to a month + delay, to my order being canceled. Then i found a pair at apple, and 2 days later my canceled att order shipped all of a sudden 3 weeks early, and then they forgot to charge me for it until they randomly ran my credit card a month later
Yes, the re-order was done a few hours later... I hope we get our tracking numbers ASAP!

Apparently it ships relatively quickly... I just got notice that the item has been shipped and is on its way!! With tracking number and all...
They are now showing 2 day shipping for the 12.9 SG 512 online. I bet some orders start moving soon.
