Carrier AT&T iPhone 12/12 Pro/Max Pre-Order/Order Status/Delivery Thread (2020)

Mine is shipping UPS. First ever launch order that wasn’t FedEx. I’ve gotten the new one every year since the 6 from AT&T. Been checking the FedEx app all day, but not the AT&T website.

I ordered four phones on 11/6 then on Monday. I got a we have a problem with your order. So I called them and they had to cancel and redo my whole order. I ordered an iPhone 12, two iPhone minis, and iPhone 12 promax. I got the 12 on Wednesday. They updated the Minis with mailing instructions with FedEx and they show delivery tomorrow. The 12 Pro Max 256 Graphite still says in progress but no shipping info, it also still says delivery by 11/13. Does anyone think I have a chance of getting the Pro Max tomorrow?

Yes. And it will be that way until later this evening when the product starts to move because they are holding it for release day. Nobody’s going to get their phone before Friday because that’s the official release day of the 12 pro max. Pretty much all these iPhones are going to be overnight shipping so no one‘s gonna see any movement until probably midnight or shortly before then.

I know that. I’ve done it every year. Just usually have a tracking number by now

I hope so but I must say AT&T's customer service is brutal and I am already regretting switching to them.

So my number port has been confirmed a few days ago but they won’t ship until the other carrier approves it? How ridiculous. No way it arrives tomorrow. Blah

All right for those that have used Fed ex for a iPhone delivery, do they usually Just deliver on the normal weekday route and time. Or do they specifically have a special truck for area that just delivers this large delivery

Been a mixed bag for me. I would assume with covid they will not do specials iphone deliveries.

I was curious because it says up until 430. Our normal delivery for my neighborhood for FedEx is bright and early usually about 830 to 9 AM. So I was hoping that would stay true so I wouldn’t have to wait all day on the doorstep.

That sucks dude. Make sure you gave AT&T the porting pin and not the account password. I had a rep ask me three times for my password. I said hey please check if you mean the porting pin. He comes back and says yes I mean the password. I get an email immediately saying it failed b/c I provided the wrong pin. He says it went through. I say can you double-check he says it definitely went through. So I go in into the link and fix it and then it says it actually went through. Check the port site yourself is the moral of the story.

It’s done. It’s been verified for 3 days now. Oh well

I tried but cannot get them to change my delivery instructions with FedEx. Something came up and I won’t be at home.

Anybody else have a UPS tracking number that’s still saying “Tracking information is not yet available”? Any chance I get the phones today with that status this late?

4:30 is lucky. Mine is schedule anytime till 8PM. :-/
