I feel yea and I don't blame you... the wait is a little ridiculous. I'm hanging in there as I have an air 1st gen (2013) that is awful to use and all of the sizes below 12.9 feel like a sidegrade. I saw the 11 inch in 2018 when I helped shop for my father while he loves his, I want more screen. Kinda like when I went from a nexus 7 to an air that was one heck of a jump.

Yes, I see the attraction to the 12.9. But personally, I'd go even less than an 11. I'd take a Mini Pro if they ever made one.

If anyone cares, and after a lot of hedging, I decided to go with a 12.9 after all. Instead of going to AT&T, I just went to the local Apple store and picked one up, a 2 TB version. Stores seem to be getting them in stock pretty regularly now.
Glad you changed your mind. Had a 12.9” iPad since the first Pro. Once you go big you don't wanna go back to a smaller one!

How do you like the screen?

Mine still hasn't shipped....

The blooming is definitely overblown by many. At 40 percent (which is already insanely bright), if you look real, real hard, you might notice a faint "glow" around some white on black letters. But 99 percent of the time, I don't see any blooming at all. On HDR content, the whites are almost blinding, yet show little, if any blooming.

But in the end, it's perception and how much it bothers you or not. For me, not at all. The internet photos of the blooming are not always true representsations of what the eye actually is seeing.

Yeah the 2TB SG seems out of stock at Apple daily at the stores around here. Anyway I like the payments AT&T offers for it so I will just wait. I’m not suffering using my 3rd Gen iPad Pro 12.9 anyway lol.
I get the bad feeling we are gonna get bumped!

Or they will ship at the very last minute.....

I know the advantage of a carrier is payment plans, but it seems they re on the low end of the distribution ladder. I can get 11's or 12.9s every few days from the local Apple store.

I would agree with that. Funny enough my local store is running low too.

You would think going on 6 weeks from the pre-order date would be enough to bulk up supply.

Just had my credit card charged also have the following message on the ATT ordering page.

"Great news! We're just about ready to ship your order. Stay tuned--we'll let you know when it ships."

So maybe it won't take until June 27th to July 7th to ship after all....

iPad Pro Space Gray 2TB cellular option.
