Man I got jiffed! Att finally told me that my order was messed up and was in limbo. They transferred my order to the "escalation" team. I should get a response in 24-72hrs. Ugh.
Bummer. I would honestly consider cancelling the order (if you still can) and walking into a store and ordering if possible.

Not sure if they are prioritizing in-store customers or not. My mom walked in earlier today to order one and hers has already moved to Preparing for Shipping as well.

Oh and since you are so smart, I know that you already know that Apple also offers a 0% interest payment plan for the Watch. Apple assigns you a phone in China and you can track it all the way to your door or the Apple Retail location of your choice.

Apple does a hard credit check, ATT uses the info already on file. Big difference.

Man! I tried going to the att store after and they had nothing in stock. They said they have only received 3 in store and that no other att store in my town had one. We only have 4 att stores. Hopefully the “escalation team” can help.
 
Man Att sucks! I was online for hours and they couldn’t fix anything. I got upset and cancelled. Reorder a Nike one for late November- early December. O well. I hope Dave doesn’t get upset.

Hoping it comes soon. Took my s0 off the charger this morning and the glass back came off. I still have apple care for about 2-3 more weeks. I guess I’ll contact Apple after work about a replacement.

I just cancelled my AT&T order because the apple stores in my area have them in stock now.
 
Just a gentle reminder to all: AT&T does not make the Apple Watch, they don't maintain a vast warehouse of Apple Devices. Generally your Apple Watch will ship from Fort Worth the same day it arrives from China via Apple's Supply Chain.

That is why you don't see status changes or "movement", from AT&T's perspective, your device is on Back-order from the time you order until it arrives in Bulk Shipments from China.

If you want more visibility to your devices movement, you really need to order directly from Apple.

Actually AT&T does have some stock in their DFW warehouse. When Apple was out the iPhones, AT&T had them and I received mine the next day from DFW before many that ordered through Apple got theirs.

Actually a very, very small difference or even a positive difference if you actually sign up for the plan after the Credit Pull. This fear of Credit Checks is reaching silly season.

Not true. Any hard inquiry will hurt the score. Especially if you had more than 3 in the last 2 years..

And before calling others that word I suggest you get your facts right.
