Apple use TNT to deliver in Australia. From prior years the phones will have made their way to Sydney, where they wait until tonight, or early tomorrow, before being placed on flights around the country. It will be around this time we'll see the dispatch email. Unfortunately, unlike UPS in the US, there doesn't seem to be any way of seeing where your device actually is.Same here, no change just preparing for shipping. Does anyone know what couriers deliver the phones? Is it Australia post.
Why more importantly? Everyones issue is relevant.More importantly hope our Phones ship out tonight

I sure hope so, im currently running off an old barely working nexus 5x as my iphone x decided its service was doneApple use TNT to deliver in Australia. Still no status change overnight for deliveries; apparently people who opted for pickup got emails last night.
I've had nothing from Apple yet.Ordered for reservation at 10.45pm last Friday for tomorrow at 8.15am.
Got email confirmation last night.
This is my first time preordering on launch day - live in Brisbane, and managed to get a 23/10 delivery date. I’m new to all this, but is it normal to still be on ‘preparing to ship’ so late in the game (considering its 22/10 morning right now)? Just wondering because I’ve got tracking info for my MagSafe charger which I ordered the same time as the iPhone, but nothing on the phone itself...
I got my order in at 5 minutes after the online store opened for me even with constant refreshing on 3 devices, and only managed to get a delivery for 26th (Monday). Still "being prepared for Shipment". I did wonder whether I'll be lucky enough to get it on Friday, Apple do normally deliver early, but am just as happy to get on Monday. In the past the "Shipped" notification hasn't come through until the night before delivery happens, even on launch day, so I've got no clue if it will come early.
Ordered the 128Gb Pacific Blue 12 Pro.
Live just outside Adelaide.
I have always gotten my order earlier than the estimated delivery date. I am hopeful that this one will not be the exception, and it will get here on launch day. We won't know until later this afternoon / evening. If it changes to shipped today, then I would be expecting delivery tomorrow.I am in the same boat. My order went in at about 2 minutes past the opening time and showed the 23rd but as soon as my address was entered it jumped to the 26th. I ordered the 256GB Gold Pro and I'm about a half hour outside of Newcastle. I am wondering if they're giving themselves some leeway because "rural" but am somewhat optimistically hoping for tomorrow still 😅
I know you are frustrated with this thread, but don't let that spoil the enjoyment of others.Yes, you wont get any email/text till tonight, normal.
Mine just changed to shipped!!!!
Yep, I know all that, but mine isn't due for delivery till the 26th. In the past Apple have only sent the shipped notification at most 24hrs before delivery, so this is all boding well for me to get it on launch day yay!!!Just had a quick peek at my order, and mine has changed too, but as said in my last post, that was always the case, and the pallets are in your states capital right now.
