Started to download this theme but when I read here that it does not use retina wallpapers as delivered I canceled the download. Looks cool though!

Is it possible to have the weather animations (without clock or forecast) showing permanently on springboard?

There are other versions of this where you can use any wallpaper, you wont get the animated weather though, just the clock/weather/Forecast or just the clock/weather.

I have one with and one without.

You can use your own retina wallpaper with this theme. Just copy your custom wallpaper to the root of the theme and rename it 'LockBackground.png'

Also make sure that configureMe.js reads the following:

var showBackground = true

??

so can i turn off the wifi and still have the weather from the previous update on the lockscreen-just like the real HTC?

I don't know if I'm missing something or messed something up, but my original Apple Clock that is supposed to be there is coming over the HTC one...

Is this making anyone's iPhone run slower/buggy...? Mine is, but I'm not sure this is the culprit. Trying to narrow it down.

If you are switching to the Animated Weather screen it could be laggy due to the animation. Other screens should be fine.

It did make mine a slow /laggy a little so I switched off the animation. I think it looks cleaner without.

disabling iphone clock ?

You can easily set your location, disable the animation, forecast, change °F to °C, display your own wallpaper by editing configureMe.js in the root of the theme (E.g. /Var/Stash/Themes/HTC Animated Background/configureMe.js)

how can i disable the original iphone clock and have clean lockscreen just like the picture on post # 1 ? rite now i have 2 display clock and i only want to keep the HTC style clock :confused:.

i tried springtomizer earlier, can get rid of the clock but the giant bar stay.. now this lockscreen clock hide utility does the job nicely... :D

So I just installed HTC Weather Widget and nothing showed up? I'm on 4.3.1. Is HTC Animated Lockbackground compatible with it?

LOL, yes, you are right. I didn't know it was a Winterboard theme, lol. Thanks! BTW, another question: the screenshots posted in the first post is from which theme?

x2

which one is being used in the first post? i looked at both the ones OP listed and neither had the background shown on the lock screen depicted.

umm...it's because they changed the lockscreen background. you can change it to whatever you please.

If you would rather use your own Lockscreen Background
// set showBackground to true and overwrite the included
// LockBackground.png file

I downloaded the "HTC Weather Widget" one, but I'm noticing a problem...in the screenshots on Cydia, it shows a wiper wiping the screen when it rains. It is currently raining where I'm at now and there is no wiper...just rain. Anyone know how to fix it?

Also, is there a way to disable the sun and moon shining out near the time? It's getting annoying, especially since it's showing full sunshine when it's pouring down rain here...

I think there is a serious memory leak with this lockscreen, my ram is always at rock bottom and have to clean it all the time, I love the screen but it's just inefficient,

Any words of updates to fix the leak?

My memory is always around 250-300 MB, which HTC widget are you using?

HTC Clock & Weather Widget v1.75

And I have a 3GS on a fresh restore and it drops it from 130ish to 30m at times with little else running...

Are both the options the exact same?

Secondly, is there a way to have the weather update automatically with your current location?

Try the other one. Does it have wiper?
