iPhone Awesome looking HTC Clock /Weather Animated Lockscreen

i just want the animation on the lockscreen without clock. i tried a lot of things in the Lockbackground. but i couldn't find the right string. anyone knows how to delete the clock or to resize the clock and the fonts?
when i removed all the frames from the clock the dots between the clock also disappear.

For some reason I cant get the weather to work?
It shows up blank, even if I edit the varlocale to my area. I tried reinstalling, still nothing... Does it not work on iOS 5.0.1? Help. please and thanks

I can confirm that it works on iOS 5.0.1 on my 3Gs. All I did was enter my 5 digit zip code in quotes for var locale in the configureMe.js file. Also make sure it is activated in Winterboard.

I'm using Lockinfo, but instead of moving the lockinfo down, I want to move the HTC clock + weather + whole deal down. Does anyone know where can I do it and how?

Hello , i'm trying to translate all in italian ,until now i have translated :day of the week under the icons of the weather forecast , day and month in the calendar,
changed from farheneit to celsius degree but i have some problem to translate the weather situation on the left side of the layout is under the location for example i have to translate from "snow" to "neve" i'm using iFile to modify the code , now someone may help me cause i'm searching the right point for made the changes and i've some difficulties.Thanks in advice

If so, you would need to do the following math in the javascript to convert from Fahrenheit:

[K] = ([°F] + 459.67) × 5⁄9

If you meant Celsius there is usually a toggle somewhere at the top of the weather code.

After playing with the code.

I was able to create a version that doesn't have the clock, but just the animated sequence and temperature values so its very clean and elegant. See if you guys like it.

Another question I have is does this really drain the battery that much. Im curious.

Combine features with LS Nimbus iOS5?

Hi there,
I'm trying to find a way to combine the animation features of the HTC Animated Lockscreen with the clean layout of the LS Nimbus iOS5 lockscreen. In other words, I don't need the forcast part, and would like to keep the styling of the clock/date/current weather of LSNimbus iOS5, but with the weather animations (clouds, night/day images) of the HTC Animated one.

One other hoped for feature, and I suspect it's not simple to do or else we wouldn't be needing to manually set the zipcode locale part of the code - Is there a way to have the lockscreen app detect our location automatically? Is there some block of code to add somewhere to make this automatic? In other words, I'm in Somewhere, CA right now, but over the weekend I'll be traveling for a few hours to Somewhere Else, CA. I'd love to have the weather for where I actually AM without having to manually make the change.

Your Slider

They appear identical, same folder structure and files. The only difference I see is that they have a different LockBackground.png

On both versions, the stock background images (that change depending upon the weather) all have a cutout image for the slider. The slider is not included with the packages so I got it from 'Weather Elements'.

EDIT: Looks very nice but stock background images are 320x480 and not Retina versions.



This can be done in within iFile. I just use 'iPhone Explorer' as it allows one to drag and drop files from PC to iPhone and vice versa.

I have everything working on my 4S running 5.1.1... I want to get rid of the big black unlock slider and use the green one you show in the above screenshot. When I unlock mine now with the big black slide bar, I see the small green one in the background for a brief moment before the phone unlocks. The slot is there anyway....I don't see the actual green button that shows on yours.... Can you help me out?

HTC Rotation

Hello everyone I really enjoy this add-on and I have everything working perfectly. I do have one issue I would like solved but can't figure it out even looking back on some of my other theme folders for comparison. When I rotate the screen everything moves to one side of the landscaped window.






As you can see in Landscape it does not want to rotate like all my other themes do is there something missing in the theme that allows it to spread out when in landscape mode? Thanks for any help. And by the way very excellent info in this thread!!

can someone help me out here?

changing things in configureMe.js doesn't work for me.
for example, changed var showWeatherani in false, doesnt work. the animation is still on the lockscreen.
also setting the weatherforecast to my place using weathercode doesnt work.
can't change the background either.. (copied, pasted and changed the name in LockBackground.png)
