Battery time is still a problem to you?

It's interesting, while there are definitely those with those apps running excessively, I use the Facebook apps off and on in most days and with perhaps some rare exceptions I never have more than a few minutes of background usage (and the expected amount of on screen usage).
It truly seems to affect all users differently. Which is quite disturbing.

Battery health at 86% is actually quite poor. Once the battery reaches 80% health, it has used up its useable life. Batteries are only really good from 80-100%. Batteries are merely chemicals. Once they reach 80%, they become unstable. This is why lithium-ion batteries are rated for x amount of cycles at 80% health remaining. iPhones are 500, iPads, and Macs are 1000 cycles.

This has nothing to do with 11.3.1, but your battery is on it ways out. Take advantage of the $29 replacement before the end of the year and it will make a huge difference. Once a battery drops below 90% its noticeable that its beginning to degrade.

Also with that being said, if you have a Mac, try using Coconut battery to determine battery health. It may be worse than 86%. Apple's battery health is still in beta, and its proved not to be all that accurate thus far.
Cycle count would be nice to have. I charge most days from 60-100%, so a cycle takes me about 2 days to reach. Charging 50-100 twice is a bit easier on the ions than 5-100% once. Battery health is nice, but I really wish they showed cycle count.

App Store is a core app and runs in background even without the app open. It will automatically check for updates. It won’t install unless you turn that on, but it is auto checking. That alone leaves a great possibility for something to get stuck.

Not sure. I have the auto updates off and the battery usage screen says "Audio". That doesn't seem to suggest it's an auto update check process getting stuck.

As I mentioned - auto updates is for installing, not checking. And it always says "audio" for any app stuck in the background.
