Just tried on wife’s 13 Pro and it says no analytics data, even though there is, and it shared.
Doesn’t work on my old XR:

In fact FWIW Coconut on my Mac (reads health on connected iOS devices), and Apple numbers are very close, but I don’t know if the Coconut numbers have fluctuated or not.

Coconut battery is just grabbing data reported by the phone. It's not measuring the battery. The main thing is that Apple's algorithms are set to be very conservative in calculating battery health whereas Coconut battery just reports it moment by moment. Both are versions of a truth that's somewhere in between.

I had a MBP that was at 83% that I tried to run down to get a free battery replacement. It was 83% in Coconut battery. It didn't budge. I even paid for 2 additional years of AppleCare thinking that it was only a matter of months before I'd need that new battery. Two years came and went. It was 83% for most of that time.

It finally dropped to 81%, but I wasn't going to pay for another year of AppleCare regardless. That laptop is now old enough that if the battery begins malfunctioning, the smarter move would be to replace the laptop. It did finally slip below 80% 6 months after I canceled AppleCare. Other than holding less charge, it's fine.

Don't read too much into battery numbers and don't attempt to damage the battery in an attempt to get a warranty repair. You really have no idea where that battery is truly at. Running it down may not work and ultimately you might be the one suffering for it once the warranty runs out.

Do you think they are going to give you a refurbished Pro unit for just $99 ?
That’s been their battery replacement procedure for iPads for a long, long time. And the reason why they are so reluctant to “replace the battery” on iPads that don’t have very degraded batteries, even if you pay upfront, like @eyoungren and others on this thread know.

They did the same thing with my Beats Solo Pro not long ago. The earcups’ foam was really degraded, and it refused to pair to my devices. No way to put them into sync mode or factory reset them.

Because they were already 5 years old, instead of asking them to repair/replace them (which costs like a brand new pair, near 300€), I just asked them politely to replace the battery because it was degraded as well. And like on iPads and many other devices, this is actually done by replacing your unit with a refurbished one with a new battery, and you’re really paying only for the battery, which for the Beats is 90€ as well.

And not only that. When the “replacement” with the new battery came, I’m not sure if this was a mistake, or because they no longer have Beats Solo Pro replacements (it’s been long discontinued), on the box there were a pair of Beats Studio Pro, which have a retail price of 400€. I pointed out to the employee that those were a more expensive model of headphones than mine, and then I was asked if I was okay with the replacement or if wanted them to try again to get me a Solo Pro unit. I told them that I was happy with the replacement and left the store really happy and satisfied. All of this for the 90€ of a battery replacement.

Not bad. So I guess I can get my AirPods 2 “battery replaced “ for $49.

The new “squared” iPad Pro generations could be serviced in a different way, properly replacing the battery itself.

I had my buds replaced twice because of the crackle issue what happened next which was odd.. I kept wondering why they were always dead, turns out my case battery was now dead.. So I ended up getting beat pros
