Not sure if it has been mentioned yet or not, but icloud backup seems like it could be a potential culprit.
I don’t know but my iPhone, since iOS 11, is no longer automatically doing iCloud backups overnight when plugged in and in wifi area. I can do one manually by clicking Back Up Now but it just won’t on its own - I’ve left it for 4 days now and nothing. Oh and major battery drain issues on this iPhone 7.

I haven't seen that yet...how would this be affecting battery life if it is only supposed to work when plugged in?

I would encourage everyone who is having battery life problems to take 5 minutes, go to the apple support site, and chat with an agent, so they can make a record of the issue and complaint. The more complaints made, hopefully the quicker they work on a solution.
A very good point. A lot of people complain but I don't know how many of them are actually using Apple feedback form

i have a pretty bad battery issue. Just watched a 3 minute video on youtbe, with wifi, not full screen brightness (LESS then 1/2) and it drained 3% in 3 minutes... Also my phone heats A LOT on it's right side.

In my case, it runs and runs, even when unplugged and on LTE. Message indicated the last successful backup was 10/1. I'm assuming that's the manual one I did before I installed 11.0.2.

I know this is an iOS 11 thread, But iOS 10.3.3 magically stopped being signed on Wednesday, Thursday it started being signed again and has stayed like this. My guess is apple is aware of the issues with iOS 11, as I have never seen an iOS stopped being signed and then resigned a day later.

If you want to downgrade now is your chance. Before it stops being signed in a couple of days.

I'm sure Apple also has paid testers. They should be catching these things.
For sure. Apple has also a developer and a public beta programs... But there are so many variables and combinations.

Never seen something like that

Is 10.3.3 still being signed? I think I may downgrade tonight if that’s the case. I read last week that it wasn’t being signed but if they are back to signing it I’ll have to do this. I’ve never heard of them stop signing and then sign again.
[doublepost=1507417181][/doublepost]Also, it’s a horrible feeling to have to use your phone yet at the same time worry about losing battery life at record speed. I just want to go back to using my phone normally without having to worry so much about preserving battery life.

I just checked and it’s not signed for me? Is it still up for you and where?

I think it killed my Air 2. The battery is showing that I’m using it at night. Even when I’m not.

There is something wrong with YouTube app under iOS 11. I'm experiencing hours of background activity with less than 30 minutes usage. Now I turned it off.

Hi everyone.

I am usually quite suspicious when I see battery life issues threads pop at every new ios version.
Although this time, I have to say the battery life loss is dramatic for me.
I have an iphone 7+, had zero problem lasting the day before, but since I put ios11 I have to charge another time everyday. It seems that battery is draining super fast when I am using it, even for a simple thing like whatsapp.
I tried to DFU restore and start from scratch, it seems it didn't help.

Although, there is one "what-may-be-a-good-news"
I was on the phone with Apple Care for something else, and asked the advisor to make a battery check remotely, which he did and found out my battery is fine - but he said it's probably coming from ios11, as they had lots of complaints from clients with battery life problems, and it will probably be solved with a software update.

So, wait and see.

Yeah i had 10 min used but 11 hours on background in the battery tab stats, and that drained the battery alot
