I did that and the answer is no, it doesn't drain the battery. I DFU restored my iPhones dozens of times, each time trying with one or two tweaks for a day or two, sometimes with a matter of hours I could tell the difference and I can assure you, Zephyr doesn't drain the battery substantially.

I keep telling that in every topic I go. I have tried many combinations of tweaks and I can tell for sure about that subject.

Awesome findings! I never thought Zephyr caused drain in the past.

Chpwn also supports the heck out of it; well worth the $5. I remember seeing LOTS of updates not long after evasi0n release. Seems to have been ironed out quite well. Plus that keyboard grabber thing is PERFECT to prevent accidental slide ups.

Well , you're the first to say this so having you as a source is the last thing I would trust, if ever.

Doggman .. My trust in humanity failed me today when I read your posts. I'm not gonna do the same mistake twice .

So why don't you do that by yourself? Oh wait, you can't full restore anymore. While you were here calling people idiots and putting labels on them, having fun with your tweaks and your cool iPhone, I was restoring mine two times a day in many cases. So yes, I can attest my experiences.

I'm not asking you or nobody else do believe me, I actually never said that here and to be honest, I don't care if your phone has a draining battery problem or somebody else, I only care about my own iPhones.
I only said what I went through and I can certify and repeat myself as many times as I want because I actually did the whole process, different than you, for example.

So unless someone else here did exactly what I did, the same way I did, DFU full restoring my phone and widely testing it with different combinations of tweaks, "you" can shut the ***** up and don't argue with me. ;)

Yes you only care about your own iPhone. How long do you think that's gonna take our community? I've marked you now, I know what kind of person you are.

Where did I call people idiots? I have never done that. That's very rude of you!

Oh no mate, you got me wrong, that wasn't me hating you, that was me telling you the next time bring some backgrounds before starting to point your finger to someone.
At least I talk about what I experienced in practice and not according to what I read somewhere.

And the funny part is, again you doesn't make any logical review, only subjective talking about the consequences of someone's words.

I also know the kind of people you are, the troll kind, sowing discord among users with no point to make, not even something useful to add to the community lives but marking people as you just did. Good benefit, keep doing this.

The term "troll" is not tolerated by the forum and you may be chastised for using it.

The problem is .. neither of us have any substantial proof more than our own experiences. But what I can tell you, is proof here on the forums, is when over twelve other readers confirm the same problem, theres something wrong.;)

I now have over 50 tweaks, and I think I can definitely feel the drain now moreso (an hour or two less of battery, but sometimes on some charges it lasts longer, probably just has to do with my charging cycle to account for these differences but there's a bit of drain I'm sure since I haven't held back; added Compose, Tap to Widgets, TransparentCameraBar,FastCopy, Safari Upload Enabler, Cyqueue) but it's not anything where I see it getting sucked down almost by the second of using like it seemed to with that latest NCSettings.

Hey FYI, if that's the Fast Copy Comex made, that hasn't been updated since iOS4 when it first came out. I know for a fact it didn't work on iOS5 but I'm not sure about iOS6. Does it work in iOS6? That would be pretty sweet if it did. I used it the entire time from when it first came out until I jailbroke iOS 5.1.1. I was sad to find out it didn't work on iOS 5 any more. Wasn't a big deal, I just like those tiny, lightweight tweaks that have a big impact for me. Kind of like how I love using DietBar and DietBanners together. I love freeing up all that space at the top of my screen. I have no clue why apple created banners big enough to cover the navigation bar! Makes no sense whatsoever!

But anyways, I just wanted to know if Fast Copy was somehow actually working on iOS6. My assumption was that it did not work mainly because it didn't work for iOS5. But if it is indeed working, I'd like to install it again. Thanks for any feedback!

You are right but since nobody else did the same I did... Let's say I was the first one then, maybe someone else will care enough to do next time.

But it is not right you disregard my experience when you are trying harder to make people believe in what you say here, based on your own experiences.

Think about it.

For what it's worth I don't think zephyr kills my battery. I can't comment on Auxo though since I've never used it. Multitasking tweaks aren't my cup of tea. I use springtomize to make the multitasking tray automatically start in editing mode plus I turn off the wiggle animation since I find this unnecessary and annoying. (Plus it helps smoothen out or completely avoid any potential lag for those rare times when I'm maxing out my phone's performance limits with heavy processes running in the background like music playing and a graphics intense video game paused in the background.) So whenever I need to close an app, I swipe up to open the switcher and then quickly tap the red minus sign. This is by far my favorite method for killing apps especially since I don't have to install an additional Cydia package which offers the same or similar functionality of an already installed package. I always make sure to avoid duplicate or redundant tweaks.

I'm pretty sure it's you who said it but it might be a conflict with Auxo and zephyr that is causing the battery drain.

I dont recall that comment but I believe you. If I said that, I was implying that if those are the two tweaks you narrowed battery drain down to, then my suggestion was that its not zephyr since I use zephyr and don't have battery drain. So by process of elimination, my suggestion was that Auxo is the cause or that there's a conflict between the two. But when other variables are involved, I wouldn't say emphatically without a doubt that Auxo was the cause of battery drain because I don't use it. That goes for all Cydia packages I do not use. Hell I've never accused winterboard of being a battery drain because I don't use it and everyone targets that package! Haha. But if someone said to me I have zephyr and Auxo and my battery life sucks, then I will always suggest its Auxo because I don't experience battery drain with zephyr.

I don't recall my post offhand that you're referring to but to clarify this is what I meant. :)

My iPhone 5 and iPad 3 are both taking it on the chin re: battery life. It's noticeably different.

Could very likely be so. Auxo solely, however, has no problems.
But your text is precise.

Thanks bro :D.

I don't doubt that Auxo by itself doesn't cause any problems. That's usually the case in my experience, even with the more popular "battery draining" targets. I remember when flux first hit the scene and everyone said that drained the battery. I didn't notice this drain but it was most likely because I never leave Location Services turned on. Even back then, Flux still worked with location services turned off. The only downside was after several months, it failed to turn off and on at the correct sunset and sunrise times. This didn't bother me because to fix it, you simply had to turn on location services and then either reinstall the tweak or open the app and have it determine your current location again. This would update the sunrise and sunset times accordingly. In the end, the devs addressed those concerns and made the necessary updates to suppress people's qualms. Now look at its popularity :D. These things tend to usually work themselves out. My guess is, that with Auxo's high popularity, the devs will work out any kinks over the coming months.

Anyways, just some food for thought for this particular discussion focusing on Auxo and Zephyr. At the end of the day, they are both really cool reasons to jailbreak and two of the best UI tweaks.
