Battlefield 2 iMac 24"

I've got BF2142 on the comp in my sig and it runs great at medium settings. I could probably push even more... I also ran COD2 and BF2 and they both ran well. But im not someone who needs it at 1600x1200 just 1024x whatever the other number is. BF2: 2xAA everything high except dynamic lighting and dynamic shadows. Forget what I had COD2 on but it was good gfx and good fps. Definitley it will run well on the 24".
 
Hey guys, i know this thread is kind of old but it relates to my problem.

I just bought the iMac 24", 2GB RAM, and all the other default stuff. I've install Boot Camp and Windows XP Pro. And just installed BF2. Now i loaded the game after installing all patches, latest directx and whatnot. In the default video settings the game loaded as normal,

800x600 and low quality everything. So i changed it to 1600x1200 and set quality up to high with 2xAA. at 62% the game crashes everytime now and returns to my desktop.

Any help would be apreciated!

i need help then???

what can i do to make my game into imac format??? i have a new imac and i want to play GTA san andreas on it and it wont let me cause its the wrong format....what do i need to do? and is there a battlefeild demo for imac yet? if so please send me the web page that can dowload it at. please help me this is all confusing to me. :confused::confused::confused:

it may be that your settings are to high for the computer to handle just guessing.:cool:
 
bf2 runs fine on my 20" on medium graphics, 1gb of ram, if you want it to run in widescreen you can just modify the shortcut to be "C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1920 +szy 1200

works on mine and no punkbuster issues :)

You can't get GTA for OSX, so install Bootcamp, install Windows and play it through Windows.

No BF2142 demo for OSX yet, but they're supposedly releasing the game this month, although we'd heard nada....
 
i cant play battle field 2 on mac 24''

hey guys i just bought this pc and it doesnt wanna work i mean just wont even install can anyone help
