I think I'm just going to KEEP two iPhones one that gets released early which is the Pro model and then later the Pro Max model. Having that being said, You/People are happy as well as Apple will be happy too. I'll just use two iPhones in the year of 2020-2021. Apple is just going to be $1500 richerBuying something you don’t really want, because you don’t have the self-discipline to wait 30 days or less for the product you do want, is a red flag. It shows a person who doesn’t have self-control and allows emotionally driven impulse to be the impetus for the purchase of the item that said person didn’t want to begin with.
Buying strawberries knowing you don’t like them or are allergic to them, because blueberries weren’t available, is illogical and down right foolish. And yet, that is what the OP suggested he was going to do and here you are using the same kind of thought process.
Buying a product you know you will return no matter what, is wrong, even though you have the money for the initial purchase. You did it with the watches and here you are about to do the same with the phones. I doubt you would appreciate customers doing that to you, if you were in charge of a business.
I know I want the largest screen size. I have waited two years since I skipped the 11 last year. I am definitely waiting for the 12 Pro Max. It is what I truly want. We can wait together and be envious of those who get their new toy in OctoberY’all convincing me to wait so I might just wait 😂

To be honest with you I may just keep the 6.1 model. I might not even return it. It just depends 🤷♀️
Theres a reason Apple provides that 14 day return policy. Since I don’t know exactly which model to keep I dont have any other options left. also, all stores are closed in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Read my post above please before calling me a child please. The 14-day policy is not designed to appease the compulsive buying of Apple fanboys waiting for another model.
I suspect you've never run a business. This kind of behavior costs the environment and Apple. Don't get me wrong Apple is ofc not short of money but it's inappropriate, especially for such a short wait.
No need to act like a spoiled child for so little.
Really?? Who are you to decide what is right or wrong about other peoples decisions? Using terms like "illogical and down right foolish" seems down right illogical & foolish, disdaining and denigrating. I will impulsively buy things and feel good about it with joy! Be happy, live happy! And do whatever pleases you and don't worry about what others think about you, because it's really not your businessBuying something you don’t really want, because you don’t have the self-discipline to wait 30 days or less for the product you do want, is a red flag. How can you not wait for a month LOL. 30 days. That also for a device that you don't need replaced, just want to upgrade to.
Patience is a truly virtue my friend.

I plan to wait for the 6.7, I was just curious if anyone else will find it hard to wait as everyone gets their 6.1's a full month before we get to preorder lol. It will be like rubbing salt into the wound haha.
My other curious question is, if Apple goes back to September releases next year, those of us on the upgrade program will then only be 9-10 moths into the plan, wonder how that will be addressed.
Lmao what a weird analogy. I always buy a few versions of something if i am unsure, that the also the point of a return Policy. I went to the Apple store when the AW S6 came out and the rep helping me suggested buying both models and deciding which one I liked more, than simply return the other one. Also, most YouTubers return a crap ton of stuff so they can get their review in. I am not talking about MKBHD level Youtubers but a lot of them do. I will be buying the Pro and Pro Max and will decide after I test them![]()
You raised some good points even if I don't agree with everything, I liked your reasoningEveryone is wired differently.
In this COVID climate, my behaviour changed. For eg. Clothing shopping, we cannot do fitting in-store and no risk is willing to be taken visiting store as well. Always ordering two sizes at least to try out the best fit.
Likewise, it will go same with phones for others.
Nowadays our criteria change. First priority is return policy and second priority for me is the shipping company.
I can’t keep holding onto being politically correct or holding onto discipline when I am in death bed with COVID. Physical and mental health comes before first than everything else.

Yeah, I will order all phones to see which fits best. Totally like clothing!
Apple's fault for not getting their phones released on time. It's baked into the cake. Surely they are expecting returns.... and it'll just go into the white boxes after a factory check. No big.It absolutely is. Getting something knowing right away that you’ll return it anyway is annoying and wasteful. Sure, it’s an option offered by Apple but also is one useless package sent around the country twice so somebody can play with a product without the intent to keep it.

I don’t think you made a mistake. The 8+ was and still is an awesome phone. My mate has an X and it’s not been as reliable as my 8+ and I always tease him about me having the better phoneI was impatient and got the 8 Plus instead of waiting for the X. I love my 8 Plus but I still wish I would have waited. Not going to make that mistake again. I’m sticking it out for the Pro Max.
