I paired them with my watch (Garmin Fenix 5 Plus) and they worked really well. In general, I've had poor experiences with using Bluetooth headsets with my watch but the BFP probably has a much newer version of Bluetooth. With my old Jaybirds X3s, it would be difficult to pair with the watch and I'd get constant dropouts. The Beats Fit Pro pairs within two seconds and only has very short dropouts (on the order of a fraction of a second), when I rest my arms at my sides. My guess is that it has trouble getting to the one opposite my body. It's not a problem while running. This makes it a lot easier to run without my phone. Sometimes I want to have my phone with me for security but it's not that much of a factor running around my neighborhood.

My experience: I had high hopes for Beats Fit Pro but two major flaws made me choose Airpods Pro over these. I liked better fit on Beats but over longer time they started to hurt and felt a bit heavy on my ears. I could've came over this.

Second and major flaw over APP is ANC in windy situations. I will use my earphones while driving a scooter, cycling, running etc and BFP's ANC amplifies the wind. I believe the difference comes from the design. BFP's mics are front facing while APP has side facing mics. Beats are better with side wind tho. I also preferred the smaller case of airpods.

I’ve had my beats for some time and the little plastic ear “buds” have seen better days.

Can I get replacements and can I get “foam” ones ?

Would these work ?

I played around with a bunch of other eartips that I've collected since 2008, and, yes, you can use others. Just make sure that they're not too big or they won't fit in the charging case.

I tore the rubber off one side and I'm going to Superglue it back on.

I have a question.. so I got my beat fit pros like 2 days ago I noticed I put the case on charge with the earbuds in but while the case was fully charged overnight the earbuds are saying just 95% but they are charging? How is it overnight it’s still not charged?

Close and open the case and see what the battery indicator says on your iPhone. Sometimes the indicator is stuck on the iPhone.

I just did a Superglue repair on my Beats Fit Pro. Some of the rubber came off when I tried to attach a larger earwing (bad idea). It's not a perfect fit (there's a small bit of rubber that's lifted) but it works. It stays in my ear and it's not threatening to tear off.

I'm really waiting now for the Beats Fit Pro 2. I don't expect them out this winter but can always hope. I think that they're going to do a 3-year cycle on these. The one major feature missing is MagSafe charging. I might also get the Jaybirds Vista 2 if they come on for sale for $100 which they do from time to time. Those are reported to be the best running headsets out there even though they don't have all of the cool fast connection stuff that Apple stuff has.
