i think its this version of beejive that has a bug - because just prior to my upgrading it yahoo was working fine.

Exactly, Yahoo updated there authentication process, hence none of the previous beejives or this one working. Adium is having the same problem where you have to use a certain server still using the old auth. process to get in.
They need a better push sound!

Beejive is really buggy now, in the last 5-10 minutes it has crashed like 3-4 times... anyone else's crash?
Mine has crashed a few times, but it seems pretty stable now. My only gripe is the subpar animation when switching to landscape mode. Just sayin' 
Push has nothing to do with the bugs in Beejive, the phone deals with responding to push notifications, not the apps.
Something must be wrong, I just updated the app and now I can't log into any of my accounts (FB, AIM, or Yahoo).
Just bought Beejive and for some reason I keep getting a log in error. I've made sure my password is correct, but now even when I try deleting the account it crashes and goes back to the Springboard
same problem with Gmail chat
I'm having the same problem with Gmail chat - it worked before I updated, and now it won't accept my login. AIM and Windows Live work fine. I've deleted and reinstalled the app 5 times, done hard restarts each time, even changed my Gmail password to no avail. Also, I can delete accounts down to one - but every time I try to delete the last account, I get crashed to the springboard. I know this isn't Beejive customer service or anything, but anyone who figures out a solution or hears anything from the app developers, it'd be appreciated!

Works great!!! Although, yahoo seems not to be working because I cannot log in. Wish they could add sending files and photos to peeps while you chat.
You have been able to send photos in chat for awhile.
Edit: I guess it's a link to a pic, not exactly the same thing.
So far I like that they fixed the keyboard lag, that really bugged me about the prior version. The whole app responds faster. Once they get the Yahoo thing fixed it'll be great. Wish we could change the push sound though.
There is a setting now for file send, there are two options, direct send preferred or post link. I haven't tried it yet but maybe direct send is what you're looking for.
I am not able to connect to Yahoo either on my iPhone. I get "Connection failed on all fallback ports".
AIM and MSN seem to work ok for me.
I'm getting the exact same error when trying to log into yahoo. Hopefully this will be resolved soon.
Same thing happened to me this morning (got "pin mismatch") every time I tried to connect. I deleted the app on the phone and re-installed it - now it works.

i have the latest Beejive 3.0 with PNS....however, I am STILL receiving push emails even though i do not have the PUSH EMAIL setting turned on in the settings pane nor did i even enter my email address. Anyone else having this issue????

it does not matter what connection you have. i believe beejive advertises that even if you go from wifi to 3g or edge it will still work properly. in essence, you do not need a wifi connection, just some type of connection.
