I use DuckDuckGo browser + Little Snitch + 9.9.9.9. It seems to work well. I’ve grown to prefer DDG over Safari.
The issue I have with DDG is that they don't have any plugin support (at least at this point). Ads are not blocked (eg removed) from the page, but are still visible as a blank, gray rectangle. Also, none of the ads on YT is blocked.

No 3rd party tool is able to block ads on YT...
