That is what I mean. You are reading into my posts and assuming.
I aready own an iPhone. I’ve owned most of them.
The Razer was bought for a specific reason and it worked well. Far from a mistake.
I am looking at a couple of possibles to replace the Razer and appreciate any constructive feedback.
Sorry if i have been harsh. But owning an Android right now is just not a smart move.

Here is a post from a long time Android user:

VIRGIN KLM5 hours ago

No Android phone is a competitor to Apple's lineup. At this point not
even close. At this day and age we can't just act like software support
and brand trust aren't possibly the most integral parts of the
smartphone industry. People just know after years of experience that
there's no point of having great hardware where the software support is
not there and when the company behind it is going to disappoint you and
mistreat you very soon. So if none of the Android brands, in this case
Samsung, are on the same level with Apple, because it's an irrefutable
fact they they are not, why do we even draw comparisons? Yes, Samsung's
lineup offers better attention to detail on some parts but the iPhone 12
Pro Max is a more well rounded product as a whole and will keep on
being for a VERY LONG TIME only because the company behind it actually
CARES. People that buy premium pricetag phones obviously don't care to
spend a little more money to feel like their money is well spent or in
the future that their money was well spent back then. In what way any
Android flagship, especially the Galaxy S21 series, in this day and age
that they keep removing features, feels like a smart investment? I blame
Google for that as the main culprit for not making mandatory major
software updates for atleast 4 major versions and secondly Samsung for
being oportunists and jumping bandwagons based on loopholes in this
whole Android smartphone industry.”

The same can be said about Google’s late to the party end-to-end encryption or privacy granular settings or AirDrop...or wait, has AirDrop for Android been rolled out to everyone yet?! LOL

Hey you guys have any decent backup like iCloud? Nah, i will answer that for you.
Wrong answer... Encrypted devices have been standard for ages. I'm not even going to bother trying to decipher what "privacy granular settings" is supposed to mean. And Airdrop? lol you do realize Galaxy phones had the ability to "air drop" years before air drop ever came out right? And you can't be serious with comparing iCloud to Google Cloud... lol you guys just got the ability to back up videos to the cloud how long ago? iCloud has been playing catch up for years. Stop it. ?

Sure, you can store stuff on SD (which no longer exist on Samsung flagships)...but that is about all you can do...store photos and maybe files (cannot store apps). But since not many major OEM used Adoptive Storage, SD cards became obsolete and irrelevant as internal storage prices come down.

Cloud storage is where it is at. Easy to transfer from device to device...and especially iCloud Backup is just brilliant when it comes to switching devices. And with everyone having 4G/5G and/or fast Wifi, cloud storage is the current mainstay and future.
I'm not running a flagship (which are the only Samsungs to ditch the SD - and it will probably be short lived), as I think they are a complete waste of money. I've got a galaxy A71 with a 512GB SD card in, which allows me to access the photos and music on it regardless of having a data connection, which where I live, is very poor.

Cloud storage may be where it's at for YOU, but it's an absolute irrelevance to me.

I haven't seen anything beyond the Razer 3 concept and their website is not showing anything.
If anything comes out I will definitely take a look.
does your next phone have to be a android? would you consider a iPhone?

Or you happy with your iPhone 8?

Here is yet another long-time Android fanboy......admitting the truth about today’s iOS vs. Android devices:

Latex beats nudity17 hours ago • edited

Samsung phone is nothing like their old days of Samsung experience (S8, S9 era). They killed off all the Hardware features that set them apart from 3.5mm jacks, in box stuff, SD expansion slot, DeX, Heart rate sensor, price to value, OS UX (One UI and Android itself is now aping Apple hard), and the last but not least. SCOPED STORAGE - SAF is the death blow to Android freedom barring all the API regressions that Google does with every version of Android. Only saving grace is external APK installation and pseudo filesystem control. Android and Samsung are having a debilitating death.

I vote for iPhone, I won't even use an iPhone even if any one gifts it to me, because I want root and all HW which I want to control & I will never support Apple corp. But for a normie ? Apple is leader. Resale value is insanely high, easy to repair because of Apple standards all iPhones can be repaired fairly easily. They even have the USB port as a module. Don't even want to talk on A series since in real world that Anandtech BS bench of SPEC Is useless garbage but the OS is very fast no question even without 120Hz display.

Want to break it even more ? Apple servicing is DAMN EZ. Book and appointment at Genius idiotic BS at Apple store near you, get your phone's battery swapped in no ****** time without any 3rd party ****** batteries or losing IP rating or any for that matter. For Android ? Screen Cracked ? your stuff gets does it backup like iCloud ? No Ext Storage so yeah will it and what about the Ads that Samdung enforces... And battery replacements ? Ship the phone to Samdung and wait for it to be repaired or get it done at Geeksquad garbage at Bestbuy crap.

So for the price that anyone put into iPhone, I will get 5 years of lifespan easily with that device and get it even battery replaced too !! Much much much better investment for $1000 that anyone will pay.

I hate to say that, I lost faith in Android. Google is the one killing it and Samsung is enabling that. For many now Samsung doesn't even offer anything in HW perspective, nothing is differentiating anymore to be honest. They even removed MST.

Oh and that Software update system, yeah it's leagues ahead of Android but my bias is how latest Android is utter BS vs the old one for instance in my case Oreo rrecents is much better and more productive over the bs one copied from iOS, the Apple one is very fast and quick while Android one is complete garbage experience, horizontal cards on a vertical screen with not iOS type experience when copying it hard. Plus bonus pack is Google's regressions added. So yeah I don't even vote in that matter but if anyone really wants, Apple it is.

Apple is winning this war, not by giving more than Android it's because Google is killing Android and Samsung is ripping off it's user base of dumb people who throw money into these planned obsolescence overpriced crap, thanks to Chinese for flooding this market while Apple charges premium Samsung and Co try to Ape and go bankrupt in the middle (HTC, Motorola, soon LG, Sony ? less and less choice)”

No...I'm not referring to the bump feature. The fact that you have no idea what I'm talking about shows you probably should avoid that conversation, as you clearly aren't knowledgeable enough to speak on it.

Prior to this, Android had Wifi Direct which is NOT an AirDrop equivalent...so, the fact that you thought that it was......is embarrassing on your end.

It’s OK...i like to educate my Android friends.

Don't waste your time on him, only thing his good at, is coming back at you with insults and telling you that you don't anything,

Correct me if I'm wrong apple has always had a proper backup system from day 1, iTunes, wonder where he got iPhones couldn't back up videos lol, you couldn't even backup everything on your samsung properly back in the days, they were crying for something like iTunes back then.

As mentioned in a couple of my previous posts, I already have a 12 ProMax as my alt device. I have owned just about every model of iPhone. Android became my main from inconsistencies in iOS.
Reckon you're better off going with a pixel, so you don't have to deal with the bloat and gimmicks on samsung phones, only things I don't like about pixel, they use mediocre mid range processors and it's google you're the product and not the customer, your privacy is gone out the window.

Appreciate it.
I've owned a Note in the past and wasn't that thrilled with it. Like the stylus though.
I'll put Pixel on my list to look at. Thx.

The part you're so conveniently leaving out is during this same period of time, iPhone users had basically no efficient way to share any sizeable file... You're sure this is a path you want to go down? lol

the quick share works very well on android. only issue is if you did say have a laptop it doesn't work as far as I'm aware.

lol, allow me to clarify a few things for you. All airdrop is, is a peer to peer ad hoc network used for transferring files. In case you aren't aware wifi direct is also a peer to peer connection used to transfer large files (but is more efficient as it uses less hops). Now that we have that out of the way, let's go to the next part. Airdrop was released in 2011. Samsung had wifi direct in 2010. Airdrop was an attempt to catch up to wifi direct being available on the Galaxy S. Then the year after Apple released airdrop, Samsung release S beam, which was a way to use wifi direct to transfer files with a tap (as opposed to having to actually go turn it on). So with that said, while it's been close to a decade for you, it's been over a decade for us. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk. :)

Yeah dex does work well. Got to admit I used it more on the tablet than say on computer but does have a use case
I tend to use it when I go out of town. I like to connect the phone to the TV in the hotel and turn it into a computer. I don't like to bring a laptop unless it's absolutely necessary, and DEX allows me to leave the laptop at home if I don't need to do anything that specifically requires it.

So if Wifi direct is so good, then why did Android come out with Quick Share? Why did Samsung abandon Wifi Direct and go with the wonderful Quick Share?

oh yeah because Wifi Direct sucks because it never works well Lol

try again grasshopper

?‍♂️ you REALLY should take the time to become knowledgeable before embarking upon these types of conversations....
You DO realize that quick share IS wifi direct, right? It hasn't been abandoned at all. ?‍♂️:(
