I don't think you quite get the idea of a fail.. They're things that make you cringe when you see them, things which are so mind-numbingly stupid it's incredible, they're not just software glitches. Personally I think you should be a bit more critical in your selection, although I could be over-analysing.

I see fails as anything thats gone wrong thats comical... Yes, I do think you are over-analyzing it.

I'm sure I wasn't the only person waiting...

another one in the "we'll use an Apple in our advertising pictures"

or is this an epic fail on my behalf???

to me it looks like a MacBook with the iSight airbrushed out. Not to mention if the fact it's running bloody XP

link thing

I love it when you see a Dell or HP 'puter in a movie or ad and it's running Macintosh or vice versa. Marketing people are waay overpaid if they can't catch that kind of stuff.

I know, this one has been joked about before
Yet I still didn't see this one, in this fail thread.
Hey, at least they didn't make the scroll wheel white, as well.

costco has been doing this on their website for a while now.. its not really a fail.. i just find it humorous.

Ohh that is most definitely a FAIL. Tiger wallpaper on PC's? I guess it is better than the "Bliss" wallpaper. Ok so you can download the tiger wallpaper but to show it on a sales add is giving the impression that it comes with the computer.

It would go like this:

Sir - "Where's this wallpaper"
Costco - "Ummm, that's a Apple wallpaper"
Sir - "So you used an Apple wallpaper on a sales add for a Vista computer?"
Costco - "ummm yah"
Sir - "Ahhh, ok well thank you for your time, I'm headed to the Apple store"

LOL

Ballmer fail

Here's Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft at a presentation in Belgium. Behind the big Microsoft logo bar you can clearly see the Apple logo on the Macbook Pro. Maybe its running Windows.
:D
