RT I’m interested in this too. Mine is coming Tuesday.

Grip on the sheath is great.. it has this grainy feel to it but not in a bad way and not super exaggerated..just enough to provide a texture that won’t slip and slide around if you were you adjust your hand on It. And by them keeping the overall feel of the Case slim it naturally feels better in the hand compared to like the Apple leather ( had but returned)

I thought the Spigen Ultra Hybrid would be my 1 iPhone case to last me through out the life of the X. Sadly the TPU portion started sticking to the sides which IMHO looks ugly, causing me to switch. Now I am trying the Patchworks Flexguard. Unlike the Spigen which I felt has a very tight fit the Patchworks felt almost loose to the point that I don't have any confidence that the phone wouldn't come loose from the case when dropped or even picked up. Anyone else feel like this? Anyone who owns one as well please chime in. In the meantime, I guess my search for the perfect case continues.

BTW here's a pic of the Patchworks Flexguard on a Silver X.

I'm using this case. So far I like it. Really good for the price. Mine doesn't feel so loose that it feels like it would come off.

Just ordered one of these. It was in my face every time I went on Facebook. Hard to pass up for $18 bucks.

I ordered one last night in the red.

That case can be found on eBay and Amazon for just a few bucks (search for “iPhone X plating shining”). Seems to be one of those Chinese cases being sold under different brands (Baesus, Kaaum, etc).

Yeah, I’m learning the hard way that every case sold on Facebook ships from freakin China and can be had for much less on Amazon.

Do you have a picture of the Ultra Hybrid sticking to the TPU portion? That was supposed to be my default case but not if it’s got that flaw.

Yeah I was planning on getting it too because based on the reviews on Amazon, it seems to be a solid case. Lots of 5 star reviews.

I got the same case in stealth black. I love the look and feel of the case, as well as the mute knob. Unfortunately, the clear back is a fingerprint magnet, as is usually the case with this type of material. I like everything else about the case, but find myself constantly wiping down the back. I'll keep it for the time being, as it's my favorite case out of the ones I've tried so far (the Patchworks Level ITG being a close second), but the search for the perfect case continues.

Caudabe Sheath showed up. Much thinner than I expected. I don’t trust the 6.6ft drop protection claim for one second. Case feels great with the thinness, subtle texture and rounded shape. Looks really great. Buttons aren’t great but they are good. I think this may be the one I’ll hold on to. Especially for $17. Thanks to all who recommended and posted pictures.

Anyone know of a case similar to this? Wish they were still around to make this case. I like the idea of a slimmer case with just slightly bulkier corners for falls.

iPhone X Case (5.8"), DesignSkin [Corner] : Shock Absorbing Ultra Slim Light Thin Edge Cushion Bumper Protection Hard Cover Simple Basic Minimalist Case for Apple iPhone X (Matte Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076HHQMKZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_lNqhAbEJ01GW7

So I think this case should protect the sides. But worse, the back shows fingerprints / hand grease. No reason it should. I can live without the side protection....but fingerprints are not acceptable.

I really like the design, but not feeling the clear back and the branding on the back. The clear back willl look terrible after getting roughed up. That being said, I would definitely consider the matte black version of this case.

Really wish they didn’t replace the Playproof and Solidsuit with this garbage.

Completely agree. I've had the "leather" solidsuit on my 6S+ and it's easily been my favorite case on any iPhone. Now that I've upgraded to the iPhone X, I haven't been able to find anything that feels the same in my hand and gives me the same confidence for drops.

Just received the Caudabe Lucid Clear. As soon as I took the case out of the box, first thing I noticed was, wow, this thing is thin! Feel nice in hand and it’s extremely light. Immediately I took off the Ringke Air I had on my X and put this on. The second thing I noticed was, wow, this thing is slippery!!! Just trying to hold this while trying to snap a few pics I had to be extremely careful.

As much as I really like how thin this case is, and how nice it looks, it’s just a bit too slippery for me. Back to the Ringke Air for now.

Exposed buttons. Some might not like this.

Not much raised edge to protect the screen.
