5 dollar case from aliexpress. Have UAG's and Spigens but slightly disappointed by them so thought I'd give this a try.
Very solid and well built case. perfect fit, grippy sides and no sag at the bottom. If they slapped a brand name on this it'd be at least a 20 dollar case.

Link for purchase? Really like the way that case looks

Guys I’m using Otterbox Symmetry + iCarez red box and I’m in heaven

- no stupid bump felt at the edge of the glass protector because the case lips prevent your fingers to ever meet it, both on the bottom and sides
- no stupid bump felt around the home button because there’s no home button (and that’s why for the first time in 10 years I’m using a glass protector)
- faceID works
- glass doesn’t look like it’s there (you people with glass that doesn’t seamlessly cover the whole surface make me cringe hard, sorry I had to say it, maybe my FaceID will stop working and I’ll eat my foot, fair enough)
- they tweaked the lips of the otterbox to be still as protective but slimmer
- they tweaked the back texture to be more grippy and rubbery but not too much, it’s perfect
- feel like you could hammer a nail with your phone, as usual
- putting the case on and off never bother the glass protector

Confirmed super satisfying combo: Otterbox Symmetry (not Clear, don’t know about that) + iCarez 2.5D red box glass protector

meanwhile 1 month in my Caudabe cases are in shipping limbo, go figure

Sure, later I’ll post some pics.
I was about to ask for pics also! Thanks!
[doublepost=1513276120][/doublepost]Just ordered my iPhone X yesterday, so I have a week or so to decide what case(s) to order!! Currently have a Tech21 on my iPhone 7, before that it was Lifeproof, but don't want that bulky on my X.

Tried several of the more popular ones here and keep coming back to the Ringke Air X. It is light, fits well and the smoke color looks great on SG. The smoke color lets the Apple logo come through and buttons are prefect. For under $10, I keep putting this one on and find it minimal but sturdy.

I like it!! Does it get dusty inside?

No more than any other case - I have not noticed a problem. The back does show some fingerprint smudges under certain light, but the smoke color hides them pretty well. Of all the cases I yreid, it just feels right in the hand with enough grip, not too thick and buttons that work seamlessly.

Sorry for light setup and photo skills.
The case is not for everybody as it’s on the bulky side, of course.
Currently iPhone silver but it will look even better in completely stealth black.
You can probably see little bubbles in the lower corners, not sure what I’m supposed to do about them (pressing was not effective), they’re invisible during use (on the contrary, bubbles in the faceID area are visible 100% of the time and annoying, fortunately was able to push them out).
In daily use it feels like the glass reach the case lips, only watching the last close up photo I realized it does not.

Got the black Otterbox Symmetry today. This case is exactly what I’ve been looking for - it provides the perfect compromise between protection and form factor. Ironically, I’ve never been a fan of Otterbox before, due to the bulkiness of their offerings. The Symmetry, however, is the case I’ll be sticking with.

This trend of getting thinner and thinner has actually made thicker cases more attractive.

For the same amount of protection, a case like this on say an iPhone 5 would feel like carrying around a floor tile.

Very Nice, Have the Symmetry in black and the Port Red one. They are fantastic cases and would provide very good protection if you dropped your phone.

Also the glass structure will make you think twice before putting those thin cases on ur IPhone X. I tired one of those on 6s and was not of great help when the phone dropped.

Now I am using the official silicone case. But it does not cover the lower part

Thanks for this. I think I'll get Symmetry also! Was looking at Tech21, but I think this changed my mind.

Both are nice. I would prefer the tech 21 if the bottom lip was not so flimsy. Did you look at the Speck Presidio grip?

The Symmetry is an excellent case. I've had mine for a week and it's definitely a keeper. With regards to Tech21, take a look at the Evo Elite. It's a two-layer design that has a reinforced bottom lip, unlike the other Tech21 cases. However, $50 seems a bit steep for it. The Symmetry is currently selling on Amazon for nearly half the price ($26.90).

Here's my 3 different color Symmetry cases.

Another great case that everyone overlooks is the Pelican Protector.

My case or bumper of choice for my iPhone x is hands down the Thanotech K11. Thanotech started the hybrid design with the original K11 that I got for my iPhone 6 in Kickstarter. They've managed to stay ahead of the copiers (of which there are many).
This time they included the unheard of upgrade of actually using polished Stainless Steel to match the premium materials of the iPhone X. Try to Google stainless steel bumper or case there are few and the ones you find are outlandish designs. The workmanship of the bumper I received is in keeping with Apple iPhone fit and finish.
They've addressed all of the concerns I can think of. It's been beefed up like the iPhone X so it's probably the most durable bumper available. If that's not good enough you can add protectors front and back (all are compatible). The feel isn't smooth but that's a plus for people like me with a shaky hand. It feels secure in hand. It of course works with all wireless chargers. Thanotech understands signal issues and have designed this as they have since my first one to not impact the signal. The bumper doesn't detract from the look of the phone.
Last but not least customer service really cares and responds promptly. The only issue they had was stiff buttons. They've retooled and I've ordered another one since I wanted to try black with my silver phone. Their customer care person makes it seem like your little problem is her problem too and with communicate back and forth until you are happy.
You get all this for a very reasonable price (unlike some concidered premium costing $100.00 plus).

great pics....the flimsiness is a bit too much for me.

The only part I find flimsy is the lower part above the lightning port and it's nowhere as bad as the UAG Monarch case.

What's the overall thickness of this case like I have never seen them before

Very slim, adds hardly any bulk at all to the phone. I have over 20 cases and the Pelican Protector is in my top 3 favorites.
