I’ve seen these Speck CandyShells at Marshall’s too !

Found it! These were the only two they had and I couldn’t decide between the two so I picked them both up. $16.99 each wasn’t too shabby. Always loved the CandyShell. Thanks for sharing your find or I would have likely missed these.

I really want to like speck cases but I just feel like they are soooooo lazy for leaving the headphone jack cutout. I can't get around that, it would bother me every time I picked the phone up. They could even do like some companies have done and make each side uniform with a cutout big enough to use a headphone jack.

Hmm there must be different versions. No headphone jack cutout on the speck grip that I bought last night.

Sorry, should have been clear I was talking about the versions for 6, 7, and 8's. I just don't like their company philosophy of "make money, be lazy" I guess.

I hope that Apple will eventually release a Smart Battery Case for the X. I had it with my 6s and I loved it. Despite the weird design which I grew to like, it was just so seamless in how it worked. I doubt they will release one for the X, but one can always hope!

Found them in store? All they had here was blue I can’t find anywhere else. Wondering if it wasn’t a test or something??

I just got the Caudabe Sheath in Navy. Not sure how it is rated for 6 foot drop protection, but it’s awesome so far. Nice and thin but still has a small lip and enough height to protect the camera. So far, seems like a winner.

Yes, I found them both at the same TJ Maxx location this morning. At my local store, they were at the front of the store near the registers with lots of various older phone cases and accessories. I don't think there were any other iPhone X cases at all. Looks like they are being found at Marshall's too. The fact that they are being sold at both those stores when they aren't even mentioned on the Speck website is very odd.

I have made two refund requests from Slickwraps so far, the first one was 2 hours after I got the package in the mail, no response yet, so buyer beware of what you are getting. No way was I going us a stick-on on my new $1000 phone! I can imagine what the edges and corners would look like after a week of taking in and out of my pocket.

I’m having the same sort of problem too.. ordered 2 Glitz skins for my X, 1 in pink and 1 in blue. Package received and there was only the pink Glitz in there and a normal blue one, no Glitz. After emailing Slickwraps, they told me the manufactorer had discontinued the blue one, so they just send me a normal one without consulting me first. Want me to ship it back from Holland for a refund. After emailing them they should solve this without any additional costs for me, they are not responding anymore. Made a paypal dispute last night. Really terrible customer service! Would not buy from them again.

I bought the Spigen Air Skin case/cover and love it. It adds zero bulk over the phone in its naked state.

Definitely won’t protect against drops but will go a long way to stop scratches. This could at last be the first case I don’t remove after 1-2 months.

Forgetting where I read it but I believe speck is moving away from production of the candyshell with the glossy plastic and toward the thinner matte finished cases like the ones found on the presidio grip models. FWIW I have the presidio grip, my first speck case, and really like it. The matte is probably not as grippy as the candyshell, but the grips definitely make the case grippy overall.

The way I interpreted the article was that the Presidio would be taking the place of the CandyShell in their case line-up. I guess that’s why I’m surprised they even produced a CandyShell for the X. I have a navy Presidio Grip on the way too.

Yep, that’s where I read it! I interpreted it the same way. I suppose the legacy candyshell cases will now only be found at the discount retailers until they run out. Whoever prefers the candyshell should get while the gettin’s good

I picked up a red CandyShell this morning at my Walmart. Planning to return the gray, but keeping the white I picked up yesterday at TJ Maxx. Walmart had a few colors of the CandyShell Grip cases as well.

I’ve returned my Twelve South BookBook. I loved the case but it was just too hard removing the case from the shell. I was worried I’d scratch the phone. I have since bought the Apple Leather Folio case and absolutely love it. I wouldn’t say the leather is as nice as the BookBook, which is more traditional leather that smells gorgeous. The Apple case is the same as that on their iPad Pro sleeves. If the shell on the BookBook wasn’t as hard to remove I’d of kept it. I did email Twelve South but they did not responded which is dreadful customer service. Very poor....

I picked up a red CandyShell this morning at my Walmart. Planning to return the gray, but keeping the white I picked up yesterday at TJ Maxx. Walmart had a few colors of the CandyShell Grip cases as well.

Here's a few pictures of the Lifeproof Fre for the iPhone X. Everything seems to work fine except the screen is so grainy that it completely ruins the iPhone X experience. Stay far away from this one.
