Guys, which Milanese Loop Replica is the better quality version for the 42mm SS Apple watch, There apears to be 2 best selling versions on Amazon,One is the Jetech Version and the other is the Pnom, but which is the better quality one, the Jetech one or the Riega Penom?
[doublepost=1475905613][/doublepost]
I ordered several Moko bands from Amazon. Had a problem with one, and they sent me another within 2 days via PRIME.

They were out of stock of the black Milanese, so I ordered from JETech, not as good as the stainless steel from Moko. So I returned it and ordered from top4cus, no go -- returned. Finally Moko had the black Milanese in stock and I ordered it. Much better than the other two.

Moko's leather loop bands are pretty similar to the Apple bands. The silicone bands are slightly thinner, but there is no discernible difference once you're wearing it.

I did order a band from Clockwork Synergy, and the leather is very good. Their customer service even let me exchange it for a band with different color adapters even though I bought it from Amazon at half the price they sell it on their own site.

Thank you for the info man, i was about to place an order for the Jetech milanese for my 42mm series 2 SS apple watch but since you say its not the same quality as the Moko one then i wont be ordering it, i had the MOKO one for my 1st gen apple watch and i gave it to the buyer when i sold my apple watch 1st gen last week so i need to buy a new Milanese Loop Replica band,

I checked amazon and i cant find where to order the MOKO Milanese loop anymore, doesnt seem to be available on amazon, is the Riega PENOM as good of a quality as the Moko Milanese Loop?(or perhaps better?) that seems to be the best selling Milanese loop on amazon right now with the Jetech one being in second place but you already mentioned that the Jetech Milanese Loop is not as good of a quality as the MOKO Milanese Loop so the Jetech is out of question, Heres a link to the Riega Penom Milanese Loop - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B013DXERB8/ref=olp_product_details?_encoding=UTF8&me=

Moko responded to me yesterday, via email, and told me that they have stopped selling and making the Milanese loop. They won't ever be available again. (see my post a few ones back)

I too am wondering what to go with. It seems like the best sellers are between Penom, BGR, and top4cus. You can see the best selling ones here. I am not sure how well this can be trusted with the large number of Amazon sellers that give away their products for a good review. However, this practice is now illegal on Amazon as of this week.

Will be watching this thread to see which 42mm Silver Milanese is best.

Thanks for the reply, it's a shame because the Moko was excellent,
There is one seller on a Amazon selling that MOKO Milanese for 7$ but it ships from China, should I trust it?

Or should I order the Penom Milanese replica? Does anyone have any insight on the quality of the Riega Penoma Milanese compared to the MOKO Milanese?

You are absolutely correct. Five star post.

*I read your post for free or at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

There is one seller selling the MOKO Milanese Loop band on amazon right now, its a seller from China, i contacted him he said it will take 7-10 business days to get the item to the USA, im thinking about going for it,

The only thing im hesitant about is whether the Riega Penom Milanese Loop that is currently the best seller on Amazon better than the MOKO Milanese Loop in terms of stainless steel quality and sturdiness?

I do think with these sellers the quality can vary from batch to batch. If you have PRIME, you might want to order the Penom to see if you like it. You should be able to return it if not.

Thats why im not sure if i should order the MOKO from this Chinese seller, do you have experience with the PENOM Milanese Loop or heard anything about it? how is it compared to the Jetech(which people say is not very good compared to the MOKO)

Another user mentioned earlier in this thread on the first page saying that the MOKO Milanese Loop was fitting loose on the Series 2 while it was fitting tight on the Original Apple Watch, does that mean that Apple slighlty modifiedk the port where the band slides in?

I ordered JETech and top4cus black Milanese and returned both because I didn't like them quite as much as the Moko stainless Milanese. I was considering the Penom too when I saw Moko had black Milanese back in stock on Amazon.

I haven't worn the black Moko very often because I do think the black may scratch when I'm typing at my desk so I've just been wearing it on occasion.

No scratches yet. I just dont expect it to hold up quite as well as the stainless steel.

I do not think there is a difference between the Apple Watch versions when it comes to bands, except for 42mm vs 38mm.

I got the black Milanese from BRG and it broke in less than a week with Series 1. The latch stopped working and luckily the apple watch did not fall off my wrist. I could not get the latch to securely lock on.

I got the Reiga as a replacement and it is way better. lock securely so far. hope it doesn't break in a week. got the black one and compared it to apple store version and it is way darker. i also hear the apple version is a lot softer feeling.

im not buying the black one, i want the regular silver color, i just dont know if the PENOM from amazon is the same quality as the MOKO i had on my first gen apple watch. heck the PENOM might be even better than the MOKO but who knows in terms of quality.

I already have the new series 2 watch at home , currently have the Apple sports band on it, but i definitely want a Milanese loop band, i just dont know which version to order, the MOKO from the Chinese seller on Amazon and wait 7-10 days to get it, or buy the Reiga PENOM from amazon with free 2 days shipping and get it on Monday with free 2 day prime shipping.

Thank you for the reply, can you please give me some more info on the Penom Reiga since there deoesn't seem to be much people who own that band here on the forum, how does it feel? does it feel sturdy? hows the quality of the stainless steel? Do you have any insight on how it is compared to the MOKO milanese loop?

Did you connect the reiga penom milanese loop to your SERIES 2 apple watch?

Does the Reiga feel high quality though ?

Hi,

Haven't seen the Penom silver one but I have to say that the Apple originals look a lot more lush and not so metallic as Penom. There is definitely a difference in looks -- almost like apple one is matte and Penom is glossy. The feel of the Penom is also more metally(if that's a work). Still looks great but after comparing it to apple one I felt a little down :( .

Prior to buying the AW 1 I never really examined the Apple Milanese at the store. I spent a good five minutes looking at the silver Milanese and fell in love. Looks so good. Doubt the Penom looks as good. Looks too silvery on the amazon page photo.

I am using the Penom on Series 1 42mm. Not sure if it works on Series 2.

Thank you for your input, that definitely worries me now about ordering the Penom, because i remember when i had the MOKO on my 1st gen Apple watch which i sold, the MOKO milanese loop felt very premium and high quality

Just guessing, but maybe that's why Moko pulled out from Amazon because it was difficult to compete while being undercut on price. Although it's also possible they had too many returns based on some negative reviews.

I'm definitely happy with my Moko SS Milanese at this point.

They might have pulled out due to copyright or something of that sort,
What do you think personally, place the order on Amazon for the MOKO Milanese from the Chinese seller or just get the Penom from amazon with free 2 day shipping?

I don't think I would trust a third party seller for a Third Party band.

I think I will return the JETech one I have. They are not responding to me about the issues I have with my band. Very poor service from them. Heck, I would spend more money on these bands but they had a "race to the bottom" with everyone selling Milanese bands for 7 to 12 dollars. I would be willing to spend 50 bucks or so on bands with good quality. Definitely not 150 for an Apple one though. That is crazy money.

I also don't think the official Apple milanese band is worth the 150$ price tag, specially with the excellent experience i had with the MOKO Milanese loop, i can't remember how many compliments i got on the MOKO Milanese loop ever since i got it for my 1st gen apple watch, and now i got the series 2 apple watch and i definitely want to get the milanese loop for it as well, too bad MOKO doesn't sell them anymore but hopefully the Reiga one is as good

maybe I ran them out of business? ha, yeah right. I ordered the MoKo Milanese and Moko brown leather loop from them via prime a few days before all their bands went sold out. a day before delivery I got notified there was a delay in delivering because it was sent to the wrong hub? it was stuck in Dallas for a few days (I live about 8hrs south). contacted amazon about 3 days after I should have gotten them (when amazon told me to contact them if it didn't come in) and they refunded my $14 (total for both) and that day UPS had delivered and overnight package from them with both bands. I lucked out. got the bands and my cash back. I also was requested a return on the MoKo link bracelet I got because it had some scratches. they refunded my $19 and said to keep it. huh? ok!

Moko told me to keep my Black Ceramic Silver link band I ordered because one of the connectors won't let me put it on in one direction. They told me I could order another one if I wanted to. With so many free products, it is no wonder they aren't finding the watch bands to be profitable :)

I suspect that these are all made in the same factory in China with poor quality control. Luck of the draw.
