I live in Poland. What is this CG vs CS thing? What do you expect to be released in March and...how do you compare Benq to Eizo?

specifically BenQ SW271 Vs CS2740?
CG is Eizo top end. CS is one step below that. Same panel but no built in calibrator or monitor hood supplied. Some countries have a difference in warranties between the two.

SW271 and CS2740 are pretty similar on paper. Probably the uniformity circuitry on a the Eizo is better. But with LED backlights the issues with uniformity are pretty negligent these days.

Personally I'd buy (try) the BenQ and save some money.

I just checked and in Poland they cost identical. I would say what might help decide is warranty and lack of dead pixels. No need for callibrator or hood

Dead pixels always makes me chuckle. Such a big thing 10-15 years ago. We sell over 100 units a week and I can't remember when I last saw one!

Give Wzorniki.eu a call. They used to do a try before you buy scheme for BenQ's.

Will call them today. Checked their website and I see they work only qith BenQ and Eizo.
I will need to also check if my current 2015 rMBP 15” can power one of these monitors or I need to buy a new one.
I wish I could wait till ARM MBP in 2021

A 2015 MBP can run them. I can run them on my works MacBook Air.
