I'm hoping all day events will make the cut for Up Next. They are there now for the calendar widget. It would only make sense for it to work for Up Next. Maybe first the next beta.
Yeah. Right now I have my Agenda+ widget displaying all day events. Too bad Up Next isn't configurable on its own!

Widgets are dead on my 6s since yesterday. The same goes for my iPad. Really odd, I think I have tried everything to no avail

Try toggling "Bold Text" in the Display & Brightness setting. I read this in another thread and it worked for me.

All day events show in the Calendar widget. Wouldn't make sense to be in Up Next when it shows the all day event on the day of the all day event.

I look at it different. Up Next only shows upcoming events, then they disappear to their own respective widgets. It would be nice to see at the end of the day, all day events for the next day. Definitely not a complaint. If they add it, I'd be happy. If they don't, I can still see them on the Calendar widget. No biggie.

Guys, on iOS 9, the UP next widget showed next alarm time. But no such thing on iOS 10. Any widgets out there to tell you your next alarm time from the stock clock?
I actually get that on iOS 10.

The widgets are still very flaky in iOS10 Public Beta. My Up Next showed the next alarm...now it's a completely blank...nothing...and off-on doesn't bring it back. It's happened with other widgets as well, they just fail to populate then start working again for no apparent reason.
I'm sure Apple is fully aware seeing as widgets are a major feature of the new OS but don't forget we can use the Public Beta Feedback app to report stuff. The more the merrier.
I'll pass along a trick that has worked now everytime I've had to use it (3x): go to your regional settings and change your language and then change it back (I switch from U.S. English to Canadian English and back again). Has worked each time to repopulate the widgets.

Even if you think Apple is aware, report it anyway. If everyone assumes Apple knows or that someone else will report something, we run the risk of something not getting fixed.

The language toggle worked for me as well. Thank you!

Bottom right, empty because no games ...
Image doesn't come up for me

Widgets are so android and 90s like. But I do like the weather and outlook widgets.

What do you mean? Mac has had Widgets for OSX since forever...and I don't think mobile widgets were around in the 90s. haha.

When I say 90s like I simply mean they look dated and ugly. Like the grid of icons really. I actually wish live tile were common in more operating systems lol. The widgets just feel dated which is why I dislike them and it gives me an android feel when I use them on phones. Except they actually seem to work properly and i like the way widgets are done in IOS.

I'm a big widget user (have 20+). I won't list them all, but here are some of my favorites:
Fantastical - best calendar widget in my opinion
Hope this helps.

Don't you think that with the current design elements on the widgets screen that the Fantastical widget is harder to see?

i have an anniversary today thats not showing up in the calendar widget. i also didn't get any kind of reminder about it like "hey call your parents its their anniversary today" if SIRI wants to be my assistant she needs to do her job.

Fantastical needs to change the color scheme on the widget. Very hard to read the text now. Still an excellent widget functionally tho..

I would like that reminders widget was hidden when was empty but appear if there is one task
It doesn't work like that now? It's been like that in iOS 9 and 8 (at least for reminders that have a time/date associated with them).

It certainly doesn't. It says "No upcoming reminders" with the minimum padding (which is too much IMO.)

I actually submitted OP's desire as a feature request.

So you mean when it comes to upcoming tasks beyond today? Right now those that have reminders set for the day would show up in the widget. The functionality of that isn't the most consistent thing though, so getting the consistency down right would certainly be good.
