So you mean when it comes to upcoming tasks beyond today? Right now those that have reminders set for the day would show up in the widget. The functionality of that isn't the most consistent thing though, so getting the consistency down right would certainly be good.

That too, but no - I was speaking specifically about the reminders widget having nothing to show and taking up way too much space on the "page" to say so. Basically "if you have nothing useful to tell me go away."

I'm sure there are people that prefer it the way it is now, I'm just not one of them :)

It doesn't work like that now? It's been like that in iOS 9 and 8 (at least for reminders that have a time/date associated with them).

This is how it appears when there are no immediate reminders. (See screenshot) Definitely would be nice if they made them dynamically change in size. Doesn't need to have all that padding around "No Upcoming Reminders". Just have it shrink to just enough space around the text.

Ah, I didn't quite realize that it was changed to still be there even when there are no reminders based on that post that I replied to earlier mentioning that that's how it's working in iOS 9 (and 8).

I have the reminders widget off for the above reason, but my scheduled reminders show in the "up next" widget, so it's basically the same function. At this point in the betas I don't see any reason for the reminders widget since up next seems to work the same way the old reminders worked (if that makes any sense).
