Been staying away from the iOS 11 betas but looking to give them a try. Is the beta 3 usable as a daily driver and also in terms of app compatibility.

I've seen this issue with my iPhone SE during testing. When I use the Apple cable its fine but if I switch over to any other cable that is certified I get an error message saying it can't do more than one thing at a time. Like listen to music and charge. So the music portion will work but it won't charge or the music won't work but it will charge. I haven't been able to see this issue when using the official cables however. Sorry.Does anyone have problems with not being to charge a device with PB3? With PB2 on my iPad Air, I kept getting an error that my charging cable was not compatible and my iPad wouldn't charge.

Yes same here with 10.3.3, never saw this issue when beta testing. I will say I've seen the error less now in beta 3 IOS 11 then beta 2. Only time I got annoyed was being in my car, hooking up to a secondary company cable that is certified and having that error come up several times before it finally worked and I could listen to music/charge at once. No doubt this will be fixed by the end of this beta run. I'm sure others besides myself have sent in bug reports for it.Don’t be sorry. That’s what I needed to hear. The cable was fine with 10.3.3 but not with PB2. I’m trying PB3 but will Buy an official Apple cable if I have to.
I could write a lot more as far as errors go and the bug reports I've sent but I think this is good enough for now. I still cannot recommend using IOS 11 betas as a daily driver to anyone other then developers at this time. The current public beta has the same issues. Basically guys, just be careful of what you do. I know of a really nasty bug that can send the device into a bootloop when paring IOS 11 beta device up to High Sierra iTunes update. It's pretty easy to have this happen.
Thanks again for your help. I’m not getting the bug thankfully on PB3.Yes same here with 10.3.3, never saw this issue when beta testing. Beta 3 (or PB 2in my case) has been a dream...fixed all the issues I had with PB2 (most noticeably the ability to swipe away apps...I hate open apps....)
On initial assessment I think DB3 (PB2) is better than DB2 (PB1), but it's still not good enough IMO to recommend as a daily driver.I’ve been using the beta since it was available and beta 3 actually much more stable than previous betas
Maybe because they change something under the hood in ios 11Sounds like the iOS 11 betas are a lot buggier than the iOS 10 betas were.
10 was very solid. With 11, I'm going to wait for at least one more beta before taking the plunge.
