Beta 4 has been bad on my 11ProMax. Camera focus bug. Keyboard doesn’t appear in messages. Safari locks. Phone call audio doesn’t route to AirPods Pro. Phone call audio isn’t there during regular phone calls.
The phone call audio bug also occurs with the standard AirPods.

This has been the biggest pain. I have to start a phone call, then put in my airpods if i need to talk hands free. I had this happen occasionally on b3. But on 4, it's been just about every phone call i try to make.

Otherwise, I'm enjoying 14 so far.

Definitely the buggiest so far. Phone randomly reboots every night while I'm asleep. Sudden lags. Keyboard vanishing. Etc.

No cause for concern - this happens during most beta cycles. They fix some things and other things are in incomplete states.

Running pretty well on my iPad Pro, and seems to have fixed the buggy notes app as well.

Still not installing it on my phone though. Rely on it too much to risk even the slightest bug or malfunction.

Smart move as beta 4 is the buggiest of all the betas thus far. I have an extra SE with 13.6 in case I have a major problem with my new SE running iOS 14.

It’s interesting that everyone seems to have different experiences with each Beta. For me, Beta 1 was great, super stable, no hassles. Beta 2-3 were brutal to the point of me wanting to skip them, and then finally Beta 4 has been nice and stable again.

No issue here, PB4 apart from the keyboard disappearing a few times when replying to messages via 3D Touch. Been smooth sailing, a lot better than PB3.

This beta is so bad I revert back to iOS 13 last night. My XS Max was going very hot multiple times for no reason so the battery drained fast and I don’t think it’s good for the battery health.

i’ll Probably wait for the general public release at this point. I see what I had to see in iOS 14 so it won’t be too difficult to wait.

I've been having a good experience on all the betas. Beta 4 is pretty much when I noticed the weather widget to be much more stable.

It's running worse for me than previous betas. The mail app always shows my custom folders with unread emails, and I have had more apps crash than on the previous betas.

It's been running pretty flawless on my X and my 2018 12.9" iPP. The speed increased significantly on my X as B3 was very laggy for me.

Beta 3 was great on my 11 Pro Max. Pretty much felt like a final release. Beta 4 is now buggy as all hell and crashes constantly.

Some people seem upset that a beta doesn't work properly :) I guess those are the guys who don't want to wait for iOS14 and sort of expect Apple to release a perfect / GA like beta.

For me b4 has been the buggiest so far. Keyboard disappearing, camera unable to focus, camera freezing, missing notifications, and just lagging overall. Can't wait for the next beta

Beta 3 was pretty bad on the air 2 as well (beta 1 was amazing). I also only have 3 apps on the ipad too. Anyways i went to ios13 since it was a complete stutter fest. Will give it a try on the GM but i doubt it'll be great.

While the A8X multicore is decent, the single core performance is just too slow

(highlight mine)

That's a surprising conclusion. We know iOS 14 can perform exceptionally well; we all saw it in the first couple of betas. This bouncing back and forth of performance is common in early betas; iOS 14 is no different. Whatever's causing the leak/lag/stutters will be fixed up in short order (next beta or two) and we'll back to the performance of the first couple of betas.
