Notesync with gmail is here!

I have found another new feature!
You are now able to sync your google notes with the iPhone over IMAP!

This option has been around in the last couple of betas, but it hasn't been activated until now.

Finally!

I don't suppose they allow different signatures for different email accounts yet?

looking at the options theres just the one default global email signature

Gah this drives me crazy. People who use iPhones for both work and personal email need this option, and it would be sooo easy to do.

Thanks for checking though.

with you on that one, I'm not seeing it too but apparently gizmodo says theres an option lol

It's only available for the Japanese Ten Key keyboard.

Works for the romaji keyboard too (that's what I use) and it has been present since beta 1.

I just noticed that when you're in an app and you have the multitasking bar open, one click will now take you to the home screen. Before it would have closed the multitasking bar and then you would have had to click again to exit the app to the home screen.

...a double click will close the multitasking bar and leave you in the app.

Good catch for your both posts but I wish it was the opposite.

One click close the multi. and double click goes to home screen... I think it was like this with the previous version???

Does anyone know what the little pluses next to prices in the app store?

I can't find any consistency for them. Some I have installed, some I don't. Some I've downloaded once before, some I haven't. Some are free, some aren't.

Any ideas? I haven't seen this around anywhere else...

Some free apps have this + sign next to them and then on the price tag. Anyone know what it means? At first, I thought it meant apps I downloaded before, but that isn't the case with Square.

It means they're universal apps that have a native interface for both the iPhone and iPad rolled into the one app.

Makes more sense that single clicking home always takes you home.

Except that many people will probably be using the app switcher more than the home screen. At least, that's been my experience with the betas.

Is it the same as in iPhoto? I′d like to see a screenshot if anyone has. Does it show the places for all imported pics with GPS data as well or just the ones made with iPhone? Anyway, this is a very nice feature! :)

That's been there since Beta 1, functional since Beta 2.

Landscape viewing of the Photos app has been there since Beta 1.

voice?

Does iPhone 4.0 have voice to text? I've been from the iPhone 3G, to blackberry bold, to iPhone 3GS, to Droid, to HD2, back to Iphone 3GS.

(let's not talk about ETF's...oh mah GAWD)

and I can honestly say iPhone is the best overal user-experience (even if not the most technologically advanced) and the ONE thing I miss from android is the voice-text.

Is there any feature in iPhone 4.0 that allows us to talk into the message app and it type it all into text? It makes it so much easier to text while driving.

Spare me the "OMG THAT'S DANGEROUS" replies - I don't text while driving. But in android it was super easy to say a quick sentence or two when utterly important WITHOUT taking your eyes off the road. :[
