Here's a fun bug I'm encountering. Updated this morning on my iPhone 6. FaceTime works fine but voice calls sound extremely deep and slow on my end where the person on the other end of the line is hearing my voice extremely high pitched and sped up!

Downloaded it late last night and have been using it since then. So far it's been pretty stable, minor lag when in the app switcher, but overall I personally think it's good as a daily driver.

Battery: 80%
Battery usage: 1hr44m
Standby: 4hr13m

Too soon to tell. But on my iPad air 2 it runs flawlessly so far. I never install beta on my phone however. Even if its good i need my phone to be reliable at all times. But I highly recommend it on an ipad as a daily driver.

So far it seems fine, a lot like beta 4. Nowhere long enough to even comment on the battery.

Seems pretty much a GM to me.

They even fixed the camera bug, photos looked extra-blurry in b4.
I did notice 1 bug last night, wasn't significant enough to rmb what though.

My iPhone 5 is running great. Battery is even a little better than 8.4. None of my apps have crashed or exhibited weird behavior and the system runs at 95% smoothness. Totally happy staying on this beta.

After tried out Public Beta 2 on my iPhone 6 Plus, I remain skeptical

I get the skepticism, and am not one to suggest that everyone should run the betas on their daily driver... but there is a huge difference between public beta 2 and public beta 3. It's much more stable and the battery issues have pretty much been resolved. I think that I've seen 2 spring board crashes since installing it on my iPhone 6 Pluss on Wednesday, but no issues beyond that. It's smooth like buttah!

I am still not running the watchOS beta - because there's no way out of that without sending your watch back to Apple.

Agree. PB1 was very solid and battery-thrifty. PB2 had lots of crashes and burned through my battery. PB3 seems to be an improvement on PB1 and is drastically better than PB2.

Can someone confirm...when you try to change the SMS ringtone or mail ringtone, does the settings app crash and returns you back to home screen?

Beta 5 is the first I've put on my daily driver iPhone 6 Plus and so far not a single issue, even with my Apple Watch still at 1.0.1. Totally usable.

(Typed within the new Safari View Controller in Twitterific :p)

Side discussion - Apple Pay on Apple Watch relies on credit card setups on iOS. The current beta 5 has had issues adding some of my credit cards to the watch. It could be specific to Citibank only. Four cards synced over, but 2 can not. All is fine on phone but watch is missing two cards.

Yay for me. The first two public betas were tough but everything is a lot smoother now with PB 3.

PB3 is definitely usable as a daily driver. HOWEVER, there are a few bugs that could be deal breakers depending on usage (on a 6 Plus at least).

There's a particularly nasty BT audio bug where when playing media in another non-native Music app app the play/pause button on the headphones will pause the media AND open music and play the last track you were listening to. Pushing play/pause again only pauses the Music app. That been insanely annoying this weekend while I was doing chores.

One that will crash the system is a rotation bug while playing media. Every once in a while it freezes and requires a reboot. Nothing too bad but annoying for sure.

Of course the system is slower than it would be if all the diagnostic software wasn't running in the background. That's expected in a beta though.

Been using iOS 9 beta on my daily driver since beta 1. Never had any major issues, but some of the betas were rough (as expected). This current one is the best so far. I imagine we may get one more before the GM (if that).

Running PB3 as my daily driver on the 6Plus for a few days now, I have to say I'm impressed. Yes some transitions are a little slower, but generally the experience is great, I am getting better battery life than 8.4 thats for sure.

I am really considering goin iOS 9 on my daily 6 plus, but I am not updating 10 10.11 on my mac.
How is Notes on Yosemite working with notes created on iOS9?

@kave

You Can Choose to use old style Notes or the new "Multimedia Notes"
If you choose to use the old style notes, everything works with old iOS Devices and Yosemite.
I chose to stay with the old style Notes to keep compatibility with my 10.11 Mac too.
