Ok i got that part, now i want to set up a gesture in firefox, like say for example apple:W), but it wont let me type the "Apple" key in, what do i do now?

OK, I see what youre saying now. For me, Im able to simply add Firefox, select my gesture then put the cursor in the custom gesture box and perform the desired shortcut. Like so...

I put my cursor in the box then hit Command+W and it took it. Does it not work for you like that?

Yay , i got it now...i forgot that i had to hold Command and W at the same time..duh. Thanks

Sorry ya'll, Ive been absent from the forums for a while. Hope everyone is doing well.

I have BTT installed on my MBP as well as my iMac. I recently noticed on my MBP if I move a window to one side of the screen, the screen will snap into place like Win 7 does. The same doesnt happen on my iMac.

Anyone know what parameter this is related to?

Nice! I was using a hotkey for that. I think ctrl two finger swipe or something.

P.s. Yes give it a try caveman, its a brilliant app. Magic mouse + this is Awsome it has improved my efficiency 10x I reckon..

One word can properly explain where Ive been.... TWINS. I have 2 year old twins and its winter time so they have both been sick on and off. So I have been getting NO SLEEP!

Congrats on the new job DoF. And good luck with school. I just finished my BA recently, but I took online classes. Believe it or not, it was fricken TOUGH!! I think they give you triple the work to make up for not being in a classroom.

So what kind of classes are you taking this semester?

umm got 4 classes this sem but 1 is a "double class" so yea 5 classes (50CP is the terminology - we have to complete 240CP for a standard degree). classes are.
-third year project (implement a project for a company), we are making a website for surfboard sales.
- machine learning, looks at how machines can "learn" blaablaa
- info syst security, flaws of computers/security types that are used to protect computers
- data structures and algorithms, havent had this class yet but its like mathematical theories to sorting data and whatnot.

I have boy and girl twins, they are unbelievably smart and already acting like they know the world! They were both playing on my new Wacom Intuos last night having a blast. I had to put an end to it though when they started accidentally removing items from my Dock! LOL

They were 5 week classes so I thought it would be easy. I was wrong. Each class had a paper due every week. Then at the end of the class you needed to write a team paper with 3 or 4 other people. I never wrote so many papers. But all in all Im happy I did it.

your degree sounds really cool! windows server stuff.. argh how id love to do that. my uni does theoretical stuff its SO boring. i dont want to know how to implement a theoretical project the size of microsoft! just let me play with my server!

haha thanks. yea my machine learning lecturer/tutor is a really funny guy and can dumb it down
