I'm leaning heavily towards the rumored 5.5" IP6 coming from a 2yr old Galaxy S3. The only thing I'm worried about is the size. If that leaked 4.7" IP6 mockup is any indication the 5.5" version could be huge with lots of wasted space above/below the screen. The Note 4 is my backup option but small screen size was really the main reason I left the iPhone. If we're talking equal screen size than iOS has its appeal vs. Android (although both have their pros/cons.)

That's my fear too, that it would actually be larger than the Note 4. I have more faith in Apple than for them to do something like that, but who knows.

I think this sums it up though and I don't know if it's worth arguing. I try very hard not to call people trolls because I honestly think that word is very overused in today's internet society, but I can't think of any other word in this case.At least some of us post up specific reasons, discuss things, compare things.

Well excuse the **** out of me. How about the fact that I’ve owned two android phones and a nexus 7? Plus the fact that I’ve been using computer crap since the original Pong machine came out. I don’t like anything about Android. Just start naming it and I didn’t like it. The list is too long.

----------

So you think it's more convenient to carry around an iphone and an ipad or laptop than a large screened phone? Weird, but I can't fault you for your opinion. I prefer iOS personally, not a big fan of Android but I'd rather have a large screen in my pocket and leave my tablet at home than have to lug it around. Same goes for my laptop.

I’d like to have a large screen, too. I wouldn’t sacrifice getting Android to get that large screen. Not worth it.

About 8 months ago, I got my Note 3. So, for 8 months, I have had the best phone - screen, stylus, android, camera, battery... Even though I don't like the tw home screens (I use Nova), some parts of tw are benefits like s pen features, s health, multi - window, air view, etc... For those that say it's just a bloated phone with nothing but gimmicks, I must be using it wrong

If you like other phones, so what? Obviously, get the one (s ;) ) that works for you. Who cares if someone has an iphone, an android, or a windows phone?

Too much time is spent on these forums telling people how bad their phone is and which one is best for them.

It’s still Android. Yes, it might look different and have different apps, but it’s still Android. You can change icons and stupid widgets all day long. But it’s still Android.

So instead of insulting share some details on what it is specifically you hate about it still being android?

start going into details, otherwise it just sounds like you're skirting the issues.

I bet the 4.7 inch iPhone 6 will be bigger than the new 5.5 inch LG G3 in dimension and weight.

I wouldn't say I'm over the Note 3 but it damn sure is getting close. Kitkat has just about ruined this phone for me but I'll still hold out judgment on the Note 4. As of now though I'm leaning towards ditching Samsung altogether.

I sold my note 3 Because the build quality was pathetic ( the chrome paint was chipping away month by month) and the software support on android is really terible, I don't even think they have still released Kit kat on the note 3 in australia and its only a couple of weeks until 4.4 is announced... almost a year and they still have yet to release it!.

I also had too many soft ware problems, the phone was blazing fast as times, they for unknown reasons there was stuttering in the operating system , other times when I unplugged by ear phones, and then plugged them back in sound wouldn't play.

But the problem isnt android, its samsung and there pathetic excuse of an operating system. I have the Nexus 5 now and it runs like butter and feels far more faster and responsive despite probably having worse hard ware. I will probably never buy a phone with touch wizz on it again.

If the new iPhones are noticeably bigger compared to other latest devices of equal screen sizes, that might be a major drawback for some.

I'm sure it will probably be the thinnest.

With each or alternate iteration, ios develops to manage battery life better even though with smaller battery. Hence i feel iphone 6 will be very slim managing a great battery life with a not so great battery size

Honestly, I have a hard time seeing the 5.5" iPhone come out and be unacceptably big. I mean, this is Apple we're talking about - they haven't exactly been trumpeting the benefits of phablet size phones in the past. So now that they finally come out with one themselves, I don't find it likely that they'd make it the biggest and worst to handle of the bunch.

Also, thinness affects the feel of the phone more than we usually think, IMO. I was holding my Note 2 up for at least two hours yesterday while watching the WC game and it struck me how nice it would have been if it was a tad thinner and lighter. And I don't think that kind of prolonged use is even necessary to feel how nice it is with a really light phone, at least if the thinness/lightness is paired by edges that make it pleasant to handle - which the iPhone 6 seems to have if the leaks are anything to go by.

Longer, probably. Wider, possibly. Thicker and heavier, not likely IMO.
