Big Sur - Working / Not Working Apps

Working fine but no sound. If you try to play youtube video, it is muted

I use Firefox Nightly (which despite the name usually rolls out two versions a day!) and they fixed that a while ago. I don't know when the change will be in the standard release but you could download Nightly if you want that fix. The jittery controls are still present though.

However ... I'm not sure if you can go back to the standard release once your profile has been used by Nightly. You should back it up first.

Can't install Brave Browser on a fresh install. Installation is stuck on "Waiting for other installations to finish"...

We use a document management tool called M-Files. It launches fine but I cant get it to register any servers. It talks to the server fine but then can’t get the vault information back allowing it to save out a configuration.

Anyone had any issues with the Touch Bar on the MacBook Pro whilst using Big Sur? Most of it is working as it should but just noticed I tried to skip a song on Spotify using the Touch Bar and it won't recognise me pressing skip forward or back, the pause/play button or trying to scrub through a song.

Adobe CC should be moved to “sort of working” as the Creative Cloud Libraries are not working under Big Sur. This is in the CC app, as well as in apps.

Chrome- working overall, but I've had a few crashes out of the blue- maybe its a memory overflow and the process was automatically killed? Not sure, could just be my old hardware

I found the chrome beta/dev versions are much more unstable, I rolled back to the stable release and it works perfectly with zero crashes, maybe worth while checking extensions as these could be causing crashes too.

If there is a WIKI, I'll update but for now, latest versions of Lightroom CC Classic and Photoshop working fine except for minor graphic glitches. Tried editing a full project and went through like butter.

Update: They both work fine but opening files directly from Lightroom into Photoshop results in a disk error.

Update 2: The drive error is resolved by allowing full disk access for both apps. Lightroom slows down a bit after a while, but working just fine.

Are Adobe Libraries working for you in PS?
