Soon? There are only 11 days left in January. Hopefully won't have as long a load screens are the bioshock 1 port. It took 3 seconds per load screen on bootcamp on the same mac...

Level loading might be a little longer than the PC but what would you prefer fast loading but slower levels or longer loading times? We optimise for better gameplay if the only side effect is a few seconds on the load time.

I can tell you though the loading times are not be excessive and the game is in it's final stages of approvals.

Not a big fan of 2 but the first was worth buying a whole console to play on if you haven't already :)

If you like 1 you may also like Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Lions don't like being spliced so it has taken a few more weeks with Dr Suchong's research notes to get them correctly bonded.

Most Snow Leopard's are greatly weakened by the gene splicing. Most Snow Leopards can be spliced without dying but Feral Interactive cannot guarantee the quality of splicing when using a Snow Leopard.

The Lion is a stronger beast so looks to be ready to be released to the world in the next few weeks with full guarantees...

We have been grafting away in the UK adding more polish in fact we are on the third tin now :) Jokes aside we all want it out and in everyones hands asap. I think we are close but lets not count any chicken yet :)

Thanks for the update. Morbid curiousity and all, but would there by chance be an estimate on a modified release date?

After all the almost dates I don't want to tempt fate. I can say we are down to 1 bug left, the problem is killing the big daddy with the insect swarm plasmid so the damn issue does not come back...

As soon as we know more I will be shouting from the rooftops ;)

I said I would post when I had news. The game will ship on the 29th (next Thursday) we have more details and a competition to win a FREE copy on our Facebook page.

Should I anticipate problems with my computers specs

Thanks for the update and the hard work. Was wondering if you could tell me whether my laptop's specifications will be compatible with Bioshock 2 or if I should install it on a newer computer.

2 Ghz intel core duo, 2.667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, NVIDIA GeForce 94000M 256 MB, OS X-10.7.3

Officially you are under the minimum specification so it is not supported.

However the game will run on your Mac just on minimum settings, you might get the odd stutter which is why we did not support it on launch on your card but it will be playable. We also have been working hand in hand with Nvidia and the next NV driver update should give everyone on NV Cards a bit more speed in BioShock 2.

March 29 release date, well at least they got it done. I wonder what the next nvidia driver update will do with a 320m on board? thursday isnt far away.:)

BioShock 2 should get a noticeable boost with the next round of drivers. Other games should also benefit but our main focus was on BioShock 2.
