I don't know why you Moto guys even bother to badmouth the iPhone. You aren't going to convince anyone and you just look pathetic.

Here's to Apple's 500,000 sales, iPhone weekend!

Moto makes a great line of phones. They are not perfect, but offer a lot of different options to consumers. Apple makes one very expensive phone. It's cool and all and makes quite a fashion statement, but honestly it's overkill for a lot of people.

I drove by the Clarendon store this morning and there were only about 20 people there. More press than people waiting.

300 People

Yeah, I am in Nashville...and there is at least 300 people here...I am number 7

Is anyone else having problems taking pictures? Cause our mall security is going insane about cameras

I just want to add that Easton is a fine mall and Columbus is one of the most beautiful and feature rich metro in America. There is no horrible traffics found in larger cities, yet benefited by Ohio State and being a smaller size city, it has gorgeous downtown, Short North, several fine malls, suburbs, mid-size airport, even served by the cheapest airlines in US as the hub (Skybus.com). Combined with concerts and sporting events regularly held due to the intellectual and cultural power of the 2nd largest university (we have seen from Four Tenors to Chris Rock performing in the world class basketball arena of OSU), and the elite Buckeye football team, and the many fine clubs and watering holes, Columbus is definitely the nicest city I had lived, better than places such as NYC (dirtiest city in america, full of immigrants and ppl don't know how to speak English, and tourists, and the scariest and grossest public transportation system, and the traffic), San Francisco (materialism, traffic, really really weird people), DC (too much gov employees and Lincoln Executives TownCar), LA (traffic), Chicago (winter+traffic+price), Atlanta (like Detroit, ewwwww), Dallas (no big university), Austin (too small), Oklahoma City, Detroit (ewww), San Diego (overpriced), etc. Only things I hate is the cruel winter and the often cloudy days.

what does that mean.

Haha, Avatar, you just got trolled. Mazola's just joking, check out his post history, he's known about the iPhone since it was announced.

Oh I already knew that when I posted this earlier (page 2):

Well, his nickname is "mazola"... which is a type of corn oil, if that says anything.

Hey, isn't that ROKR thing basically the same thing as Al Roker? Come to think of it, the iPhone has a weather widget, doesn't it?

Hmmm... weather = Roker = ROKR = iPhone

What's next, the Morley SaferPhone? It's so old it either falls asleep or dies on you in the middle of a conversation.

After reading my posts a while, you'll find that my modus operandi is deconstruction at any cost... even if someone is trolling, I love to deconstruct their phony arguments anyway. It's sort of a mental calisthenics... I mean, if you can annihilate completely warped logic (whether genuine or satirical) you can pretty much give anyone a beatdown.

:D

Has any one product ever gotten this kind of red-carpet rolled out for it?

hmm lets see.
Dreamcast (midnight launch)
PS2 (midnight launch, pretty much sold out instantly, very hard to find for like 2 or three months)
X360 (Zero hour)
PS3 (midnight launches first PS3 sold in news, free games etc, hell in Europe Sony gave away 42 inch 1080P tv's with the thing->I'd like to see Apple give away Cinema Displays for the first 500-100 iPhone buyers)

Waiting in line is the norm for console launches. Now that I think about it there hasn't been a console launch (Sony, MS, Nintendo, Sega) in at least ten years that hasn't had lines and people camping out for hours/days.

Ordering Online

So its 2:30pm Cali time and these bad boys start selling in the stores and online in 30 minutes east coast time. I wonder if I can order online here in Cali even though it is only 3pm. Anyone know?
