It's a little excessive when there is poverty in the world etc, and I didn't want to sound spoiled brat-like with my post... I feel like this is the only way I'll be satisfied! Much to the dismay of my bank account. :p
Sadly for my bank account it's what works for me too tbh.

Hey, it's a passion. The way I see it, I don't drink, smoke, do drugs or like expensive cars. So it could be worse!
Techs ma bag. :D

You have deliveries on a Sunday ? We don't even get deliveries in Ireland on a Saturday let alone Sunday.

Yeah, I think Amazon has a contract with the Post Office for Sunday delivery. I love it. But it's only for Amazon stuff though.

Looking forward to your thoughts. :)

Yeah, I'll let everyone know. I'm both looking forward to it and dreading it at the same time. Setting up a new phone is a PITA.

Had a play with one of these today. They seem readily available at CPW in the UK. I did have to ask for it mind as there wasn't one on display.

I write this as someone who hasn't owned a Blackberry in the past so the keyboard aspect was the main thing I went to see how it works on a modern phone/OS.

Came away feeling that the keyboard is mighty small/tight (or my fingers are massive - although no issues pecking on an iPhone SE keyboard) and that it felt awfully squidgy and much less tactile than expected.

I could probably get used to it but am unclear if it's entirely necessary given the screen compromises. Anyway, I'm sure it works for BB die-hards. Shane because the rest of the build is nice.

The display seemed a bit dim even at max brightness in the store. The rest of the phone was OK. Not amazing but OK overall. Maybe for £350 I'd chance it later down the road although the 3GB and SD625 aren't exactly future proof.

Ultimately it's not a £500-value phone to me but understand there's some nostalgia I'm lacking.

My gel case arrived for this today.

I considered getting one with the black edge and clear back, but felt like it might look a bit odd, so opted for crystal.
Fits well. In a review of it I read, someone said it made them type better on the keypad. I was all o_O but it's actually true! Not sure why, might be to do with adding a bit of width to the keypad because of the bulk. Happy with it for £4.

Mine came today and I love it. I haven't been this happy with a phone in a long time. Not sure why but I yam.

Pleased to hear it! It is a lovely device.
What were you using before KEYone, out of curiosity?

It's still on my Radar. I know as soon as I get opportunity to snag one at a good price €450 I will do so. Keeping my eye on eBay & import sites

Actually have one on eBay I'm bidding on, sole bidder but 2 days left.

An iPhone 7 Plus. The apps I like to use are better on Android and I was looking to go back and the KEYone is the best, and cheapest, way to do so.

Oh wow really. Interesting. Shows that BB can still pull the customers in from the big guns.

I found the opposite with apps being better on iOS, but for the most part there isn't much between them.

Keep posting your thoughts as you get on with the device. It's been a quiet ol' thread which is a shame as it's such an unusual and unique device in a sea of slabs so it'd be nice to see how it treats you. :)

I mainly do Twitter and reddit, plus some texting and stuff. Every single Twitter and Reddit app on Android is so much better than any on iOS. Flamingo can't be beat and take your pick of the reddit apps. They are all awesome.

Ended up taking the clear gel case off my KEYone.
It added great protection but didn't half make the phone feel hefty / heavy?! Very strange.

I'm keeping hold of it though, and when I take the phone out and about anywhere I will put the case on, as it will definitely protect against drops. But for everyday usage it was a bit too bulky and heavy.

Also, the KEYone feels amazing in the hand without a case, and I definitely missed that feel with it on.

Would still recommended though for anyone interested.

This is definitely true...I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it is to hold.

I've a friend who has one on a free upgrade but wants to offload it for a bit more than I'd like to pay. Asked if they're willing to drop a bit more.

One thing I did notice was their model had a more clicky keyboard and a screen that was really vibrant compared to the one I tried in a store.

It seems cases are a bit thin on the ground.

Yeah cases are always going to be difficult to get hold of for this device. Unless you're looking online. The incipico collection looks really nice, there's a purple one that BB Mobile retweeted a user having and it looks lovely.
Not something I'd rock, but really nice. In fact, I'm sure sk1wbw ordered the same thing?

Screen is bright enough for me, in low light sometimes it is too bright and the brightness doesn't go low enough for me in bed at night when it's pitch black. It's a funny old display for brightness when you compare it to like an iPhone 7 Plus or S8 etc.

Yeah, I ordered that purple case. It doesn't add hardly any bulk at all, it is pretty slim. I can't stand black cases because that's what everyone else has. I have to be different.

It's funny, I bought the iPhone again recently with the aim to make it my main phone. It has my main o2 sim in it, so all of my messages go through to it etc, but I'm finding myself using my KEYone throughout my day more.

Might be something to do with it being easier to hold or more comfortable I don't really know.

The iPhone continues to be plagued with the issues I've always had with iPhone. Like whenever I move out of a WiFi area, my phone has full 4g signal but won't connect to anything. Did it last weekend, nothing would connect. Even restarting the phone didn't help. Eventually it all just pinged back.

This morning I wanted to listen to a newly released album, apple music on iPhone only showing half of the songs the rest in grey? Why? So it wouldn't play it all. Picked up KEYone, went to Google play music, play - done.

Typing this on KEYone now. Just so much more comfortable in hand.

I like having both devices as for all of its faults I do like my iPhone a lot. But probably telling how I tend to opt for the blackberry in most cases!

Noticed some very fine scratches on my KEYone screen. Really faint, can only be seen in the light but damn annoying.

Looked on Amazon just now for tempered glass screen protectors, but there doesn't seem to be much to choose from.

I thought there'd be a fair bit of choice but doesn't seem to be. I've found one I might take a punt on, as definitely want to try and keep it looking as pristine as possible.
