You did it! Good job!Look promising ... Boot Screen Status?
Brilliant! All thanks to patient feedback from you and @bootjac.You did it! Good job!
@DearthnVader could just delete theWhy don't you create a separate thread labeled Refind-GOPFix for cMP5,1 or similar?
3,1 Only /
bit from the title of this thread and it would be fine. Thanks for seeing this through, I knew the 5,1 could be cracked, I just couldn't figure it remotely.Brilliant! All thanks to patient feedback from you and @bootjac.

To anyone stumbling on this, the Refind Version that works for all cMP variants is in Post 256.
Why wouldn't it? If it has valid unmodified (checksum) GOP. It needs more testing. Now if we only knew why nVidia cards don't work?
No reason why they should not work as @startergo pointed out.Now if we only knew why nVidia cards don't work?

cMP5,1 does not need this for boot screen.Needs "OsxAptioFix3Drv_x64.efi" driver to show the boot screen
I see.cMP5,1 does not need this for boot screen.
Actually it is an improvement to the MVC EFI vbios, as it does not show any artifacts at the last boot stage as MVC bios does.Is there any ill effect of it being loaded on a 5,1?
Did a few quick testsBootscreen shows on 3,1 OK without itbut the first stage progress bar does not show up. That doesn't make sense as this is by OpenCore ... Need to test again.

How do you enforce verbose in rEFInd?The aptio driver was needed as I recall for verbose boot to work ... has that been tested?
If you have -v in the nvram boot args that works else have the boot plist file for the os modified for verbose. Also was needed for single user mode to work. How do you enforce verbose in rEFInd?
Would actually like to know how to switch it off.How do you enforce verbose in rEFInd?
