Its actually kind of humorous, as yes, the 9400 has shared RAM, but most cards in that range, (8400/9400) only use DDR2 RAM, where this uses much faster DDR3 RAM, which most likely negates the shared RAM performance penalties.

thast a very good point. the 1066mhz DDR3 RAM would be very good for that kinda improvement.
 
I just wanted to say that cod4 mac "feels" different than the pc version. Even though the frame rate might me around 5 FPS slower - it still feels and plays smoother.

I never had cod2 mac, but I heard on macbook pros when the graphics card heated up the game "jerked" and skipped for a second. That happened ALL THE TIME on pc,but on the mac version it stays smooth so FPS of 30 actually are not that bad.

I have a 2.4 penryn last gen pro.
